Addressing cheaters on fh4 pr leaderboards

Hi, i’ve loved playing the forza series whole heartedly for many years now. Over those years my club & my friends pride our stats & reputation on doing the PR stunts & we’re very good at it. But whats going on with fh4? On fh3 thankfully you capped p.b.'s so players couldnt cheat. Good move, but in fh4 the same disgusting cheats are back and for alot of us we’re wounded & feel totally let down, we saw the boards get wiped on the 1st week & thought this was awesome beyond belief as we assumed youde do this regularly to get the cheats out. But since then, nothing? I & my co leaders regularly report the suspicious players as we’re all about records & to see someone thats clocked a 22½ thousand feet jump or doing allmost 500mph is dissheartening beyond belief. I gave your game a 5 star rating which was abit cheeky asking players to rate you 20mins into the game play. I pre ordered as i allways have but im unsure next time because your not giving the real hardcores the chances we deserve. We drive hard in all forza games but your letting us down. We absolutely know you made it for the drifters we feel that in all the cars we drive in game, & even though we haven’t all been catered for we would very much appreciate it if youde keep checking the pr leaderboards & act accordingly. You have a fantastic game but your litteraly letting the real gamers down. Plz fix the leaderboards. Thank you for your time. BIGGY FOOLZ

With all due respect i totally get the reporting to DEVs but ur skirting the real issue here. If accidents happen great FIX IT. But defending cheaters is a low blow. I know people who you have banned for 33years for extremely minor infractions, i even used to think t10 was staunch for being so strict, but now in everyones eyes your a joke. When we the consumer buy your product, are expected to live by your terms & conditions-granted. But why arent you the contract owners living up to your side of the contract? Protecting & upholding the real players who are being CHEATED. How hard is it to look & see how much your games being abused. Yes, ABUSED! You say “accidents” happen, yes they may do, so rectify the “accidents” & bring back some faith in T10 because right now its you making excuses for blaitant out right cheating, live up to your end of the consumer contract just as you demand we stick to ours. Theres no excuses for cheating, period. I shouldn’t have to report issues, its your game OWN IT!

Not only the PR-leaderboards are plagued by “cheaters”, the few Rivals also. Tuned cars in stock Rivals, completely different cars. All sorts of stuff. Aiming for #1 is pretty useless. Look what # seems to be legit and aim for beating that.

I do my bit by reporting those with crazy scores, but it gets ridiculous when you have to scroll down several pages to reach even remotely possible scores. If everyone is playing fair I expect to see the top of the leaderboards separated by the tiniest margins - jumps determined by cms, speed traps by 0.1 - 0.01mph. Instead we see top scores where jumps are in kilometres and speed traps in the thousands of miles per hour.

But when you complete multiple of the same type of challenge you see the same gamertags appearing in the top spots of each one - all with impossible scores. This isn’t an isolated case of unfortunate game/server error. You don’t “accidentally” complete every race of a certain type in 0.01secs. I would hope that whoever is reviewing the reports also looks for things like this and bans the players. Sadly some of those are tags setup only for this game - a disposable account for whoever owns it just to do glitching and leaderboard cheating, but banning them would still be a start.

As for rivals, there should atleast be some sort of check that the car is what it should be. If the challenge is in an Alfa, and the score is set by anything other than that exact car - not a valid result, don’t put it on the leaderboard.

T10, Explain to me how the same person can get over 20K to 30K Feet one more than 3 different danger signs and how he “accidently” achieve such ridiculous scores repeatedly? Not to mention the endless amounts of people who plague the game with the obvious amount of cheated records ranging from Speed Zones, Traps and Rivals leaderboards. It’s becomes more and more obvious that T10 and PG do not care about their community.

For a company that prides themselves on delivering the “Ultimate Racing Experience” for the both Serious and Casual player, they are awfully good at not honouring Racing and Gaming 101, NO TOLERENCE FOR CHEATERS. There is near enough no system in place to monitor and maintain order in this situation and there DEFINITELY isn’t a reliable system in place for people to voice their concerns.

There isn’t an ounce of Customer Guarantee nor respect left at T10 and PG (not that there was much to begin with) and that unfortunately is going to be the downfall of a what is…was…a great franchise.

Open up a customer support, open up a moniterable report system, JUST OPEN UP COMMUNICATION!

Forza is a franchise that has a community that values one thing above all else to a various extent; Being the best, being the fastest and being the cleanest, and BEING NUMBER 1. If everyone isn’t given the same opportunity and people with nothing but ill intent are left to squander. EVERYONE LOSES.

Turn 10, Playground Games and to an extent Microsoft Studios. FIX YOUR GAME before there isn’t anyone left who cares to play it and keep it alive. Success breeds complacency. Complacency breeds failure. It isn’t something that can just be swept under the carpet.

PS. I’m only bringing this part up because I know it has happened and plentiful amount on these forums. But if this thread gets shut down by some moderator it only goes to show how little the developers care about their community.
