Make the exposure fixed because in some of racestarts midday look like it’s midnight, also in cockpit view in ~40% of the cars you can’t see the interior and the outside is blindingly white which is a problem tor the people who ride with this cam and no HUD for “realism”. I know this won’t happen in update 9 but it would be nice to see it soon.
Yeah it is really bad, I just stoped playing a few minutes ago because of that. I hate driving on Sebring because at least on my screen the track is just a big blinding white blob. It’s really confusing to see where the track is going and visualizing it. I mean you still need some reference for your eyes and brain while racing even if you know the track layout.
Who is play testing this before release? Did anybody use cockpit view? Did nobody say “we should give the asphalt a bit more contrast and textrue”?
I’ve then tried to join a GT3 race which had a atomic sun, I swear you couldn’t see many corners WHATSOEVER and I wonder if that was actually the reason there where only 3 people in that lobby 10 minutes before race start.
I frequently struggle to see the braking line during daylight races because of blinding effects with the camera I am using (cockpit cam with wheel removed).
Although I use a very low monitor brightness to begin with. And I can’t find a option turnig HDR off (you can in Horizon) my HDR is also set to minimum.
