AWD and RWD should be separated for drifting?
I think, we should be able to choose awd or rwd lobby since most people abuse awd + drag tire build are so unfair for rwd drifters.
AWD is powersliding, RWD is real drifting.
Hate to loose against Wheele 4x4 + drag tire, because these cornerbumpers are no drifters.
As I understand that rwd vs awd build up points very differently… I also agree that separate categories would be super beneficial. Honestly the layout of fh4s drift adventure ideally is what I prefer for this.
Even if it excludes ranking as the franchise sort of moved away from the ranking systems. That way we get in a few missing classes as well as the rwd random class awd random class… instead of allowing either or and a generalized class system. Since people have different preferences and it tends to become a battle between rwd vs awd (even thou we all had the same option as rwd users or awd users)… it would save quite the hastle and would keep the communities (point drift and rwd communities apart)… which in part would cause less feuds.
That being said I originally started off rwd and was a big part of a few tandem based communities. I used to absolutely despise the awd and drag meta. Then I began meeting some of the point drift communities through the shared awd vs rwd lobbys and honestly both are a ton of fun. Though as you are right awd is powersliding technically and rwd is drifting and awd will almost always beat a rwd build. There are still a few pretty op rwd cars with drags as well (I am looking at you fd supra (s1) and hoonigan bel air (a)).
At the end of the day, we are all drifters but with two different preferences. If they collide they tend to not end well and seperating the rwd community vs the awd community would make a huge impact, but I may have never met some of my point drifting friends or tried point drifting without the initial shared lobbys.

I know your point but it is still a Handicap for RwD drifters. These Awd + drag tire sliders, can slide a mile and need no skill for that. I wish there was a separated lobby for RWD Drifter.

Having separate classes for drifting events just like the other modes in Horizon Open should be a no brainer at this point ( If you think otherwise , Id like to hear your reasoning in the comments ) , specially considering that the game is almost a year old now .
Im not sure if im going about this the right way but i agree u can make a A class s1 s2 class why can’t u make them 4 or 2 wheel as well the all wheel guys smoke everyone its no skill and kinda takes the fun outta it
Just divide the score with the number of wheels with traction.
FWD/RWD = divide with 2.
AWD = divide with 4.
This will make more players try harder to drift RWD.
Most of these “corner bumpers” you’re referring to would dumpster you in RWD as well. You lot need to realize that you’re not that good. Just because you can go sideways doesn’t mean you’re instantly a drift king. I still support the idea, but jesus man, tone down your delusional ego.
RWD scores only 2% less than AWD points wise.
Sound like you are maybe a corner bumper. And yes i can go sideways in real and gaming. Maybe you are angry because you cant drift Rwd. Dont come personal with your hate.

I’m going to keep it a stack, I’ve seen you OD and you’re dreadful. I’m not even a RWD main, and you’d still get dumpstered by 100-200k.

Stock , Drift or Horizon tires > 100% RWD
you’re over 50k off on bola; basically 100k down on cathedral, 150k+ down on playa

Its funny, but without these awd sliders, i do 1st 2nd all the time. Maybe im on europe server i dont know.
Rarely in cathedrale a rwd comes over the 380.
Azure i got 840k once and no rwd here in 800k range.
Idont know what or where you playing but here the real rwd drifter no, “5% front 95% rear”, are in range of what im writing. But you can try it out with me “rwd only” no problem i dont lie.
every good RWD drifter does well above 400k on cathedral
450k+ has been done on cathedral in A-class in RWD. (RWD DRIVETRAIN NOT AWD DRIVETRAIN - They are not the same even if you use 0% front 100% back/rear).
470k+ has been done on cathedral in S1-class RWD. (Same story).
840K on playa with RWD is just bad.
Separeted the Lobby and thats it. Maybe a filter with penatly for every wallpump. I will be happy.
