recommend serious off-road vehicle for Trial, they are heavy-duty trails and the stock #25 Ford Bronco was able to keep up and gain on 800-tuned rally cars on the off-road bits

Is it just me or have the RA PR stunts got harder in the past couple of weeks.

They used to be a one and done but struggled last week (finally got it) and this weeks is proving to be the same. Tried all the cars that I’ve managed that drift zone with in the past but still coming up just short. Had to switch to a controller on occasions as I was getting blisters using the wheel but still no joy.

Anybody else felt this ramp up in RA recently ?

Thought my wheel drifting was getting better after all these years as the only time I need a controller now is when getting beached on a rock with no LSB / RSB wheel mapping available after YEARS of asking for it to get sorted.

n.b. devs - please sort it out. wastes too much time having to switch to a controller when there’s two perfectly situated buttons right there that can’t be mapped at all on the wheel.

You might be right. Last week I just managed to complete the RA PR stunt, although it’s one of the PR stunts that I’d rather not do. This week, when I saw what drift zone it was, I decided to give it a couple of goes and waste no further time on it if I didn’t score enough points; and I don’t need to. I got the car and the Backstage Pass without it.

It’s not impossible on a keyboard, but this particular drift zone is inimical to keyboard players because you have to be able to drift the full length of the zone to score a sufficient amount of points. If you slow too much or get bogged down, it seems difficult to recover.

My NB to the devs would be “Also play test with a keyboard”.

That drift zone is tight & awkward with S2 drift build. I got it done on the 2nd effort but it was clumsy.

I spun on the trial but the dravatar collided with me & actually put me back on course. So a nice podium there.

Got the trailblazer done with the Jesko on dirt.

I think the RA PR stunts have always been at the tougher end of the scale. Admittedly drifting is not my strong point but this one needed a PB and I couldnt have been closer to failing. Easy tip No1 - you don’t need to use a S2 car for this one so just choose your favourite drifter.

My Drift choice is always the Willys Jeep tuned to S1 using code 393 776 916 by Silvy2k (unless disallowed). NB the title is for dirt, but I find it is OK for any drift zone. I agree that the RA stunts are generally harder than the mainland, but still easier than some of those in F4.

Oh its doable on keyboard, you just need to cheese it with a maxed out willy’s jeep. Switch to manual, stick it in second and just hold the line. Its one of the zones that really needs manual so you can keep your speed down.

The daily quest “Put on any piece of clothing when setting up your character” doesn’t count, and neither does the helmet, dress, cap, etc. I’ve tried restarting the game, but it doesn’t work.

PC steam

Iirc its outfit so it has to be one of the full body outfits like the race suits

Wasn’t aware of this. Requirement says S2 Anything Goes so I presumed at least S2 was needed.

A couple of others have mentioned that the RA PR stunts have always been harder than the mainland ones but I’ve always found the RA events to be pretty easy most of the time - until now.

correct.

Max’s list of the dailies at the start of the thread….

Though the actual playlist says “Looking Sharp” - Equip any outfit in the Character Customiser -

Oh thanks, localization difficulties =)

Yes - these things happen far too often.

Even Max gets it wrong when he posts the playlists in many areas, even with the insider knowledge that he has as a MS employee now. Still wish he had remained as an independent owner of this forum without being held back by the corporate bosses to allow full freedom on the forums.

You’d think with that knowledge he would be able to put out a full set of fully accurate playlist details - including the reward cars and a full set of descriptions instead of a brief redacted description on the weeklies and eventlab events that Forza Wiki always managed to do for a full 4 week set of playlists a few days before the series started before they got nerfed fro posting these in advance. It’s a shame that this happened and weirdly just shortly after people on the forums started talking about how great that site used to be.

Seems like us talking about that many months ago caused that decision to make them somehow break it. Don’t know if they bought over the site or used some other method to block their far superior set of info than what we get know.

yes, for nearly all PR stunts the class requirement is a maximum - for drift zones the 10k Toyota Sera ‘91 or the 15k Ford Mustang SVO are nearly always sufficient without any upgrades or tuning - it’s a bit tedious but repeatedly swinging left, right, left, right racks up points quickly enough - on occasion something more is needed, Twerkstallion is usually a good bet (cheapest drift car IIRC)

Made the trailblazer in a B700 Raptor R, not sure why someone would use a hypercar.

In the playlist, before completing the stunt you can select the context button following the on-screen instructions to see if lower class vehicles are eligible.

The RA drift zone was easy-peasy in any stock FD car, RTR drift Mustang or Deberti Silverado.

Twerkstallion is free via the 90 RX7 perks. The 90 RX7 is wheelspin/accolade and last I checked generally over 2m. The Twerkstallion is generally over 7m. In FH4 it was autoshow.

Thanks - I’ll bear that in mind for the future. Always thought the class requirement was the necessity.

Thanks for that as well.
