Many thanks. I’m looking forward to the challenges.

Well I did have my own tune for the '73 A110 shared but only for about 5 minutes, tried Izzumnizzum’s Renault 5 tune just now and it was half a second quicker with just 1 attempt, moved me up to #74 on Aeródromo’s board and it’s far easier to drive than my Alpine was/is, so unshared mine and am using/recommending that instead.

I do have a Capri tune up that should be perfect for the Classic Sports Cars championship though, by pure chance I actually specifically tuned it for Granjas de Tapalpa a few weeks ago, it’s slipped down a couple of spots since I named it but it’s still sat at #51 on there, SC is 152 411 213 if anyone would like to try it.

If my maths is correct we can get 81pts today (69 + 12 from the monthly Rivals giving 4pts to the other 3 seasons) so the new Aston’s obtainable straight from the off as long as you do absolutely everything outside of the daily.

Refreshingly straightforward in every aspect, decent team and harmless AI.

Can’t seem to catch a break with starting positions lately, started 5th and 4th of the humans in the respective races, was in the lead after the 1st corner of Aeródromo and 10% of the way in to Pantano though.

As above I used Izzumnizzum’s tune, superb on Aeródromo, top speed’s not great for Pantano but good thing is you can just full throttle it for 90% of the course, very little braking required other than on a couple of left handers + the final right.

Photo location is right next to the icon for the Ladera speed zone on the corner.

I just finished a trial with @x_ShadowsBane_x, don’t see other forum members that often. I hope I didn’t screw you up on that second race, there was no contact but I’m afraid I touched the brakes when you weren’t expecting me to and threw you off

No, you were all good. Great race on Aeródromo!!

My 5 Turbo tune didn’t have the speed to compete in that second race.:smiling_face_with_tear:

unless you got a car that does 160 you are not going to win the second race…facts.

My renault did 155…and I still almost got beat. I can see the anger fest coming from people running this trial. You can’t really tune more than a couple cars for this that can do both races…the 93, the gordini, and maybe the alpine taking away the vintage tires and adding more speed. The turbo is great in the first, but terrible in the second.

I only had the Eliminator challenge left to get my 80 points for the Vanquish so jumped into a match.

Had intended to get into the top 30 and then let someone beat me but I ended up getting a few easy head to head wins and ended up in one of those RJ Anderson trucks I think and decided to see how far I could go.

There were only 3 of us left for the final showdown, never saw the 3rd player, the other player was still in the Beetle, presumably going for the no drops accolade, figured he knew what he was doing so I just followed him and sure enough the finish line was only 2 miles straight ahead.

Blew past him and got my first Eliminator win!!

Outstanding! Winning the eliminator has become like finding a unicorn. I just gave the unworthy pleb event lab a try. I recommend it. It is nice. My puma had a lot of fun sliding around. That guy seriously gets people who enjoy rally and dirt races. He was so detailed I noticed he put flower pots where your slide would be if you took the corners proper.

Yup, this was quality for Rally. Had one other player almost keeping up which made it extra fun.

We’ve had quite a few road tracks officially added but courses like this should be added to dirt as well.

@geistwriter Thanks for the R33 tune, works great. :+1::+1:

And thanks Playground Games for another set of PR stunts that can’t be completed with a stock car.

:+1: Holden Monaro worked for me. It should accept any Australian that’s in one of the Muscle categories. I was able to confirm the Maloo did not work…

Thanks for that; I assumed that was probably the case. The Treasure Hunts are pretty much back to just a point filler. I’d personally like to see them introduce some more of the challenge courses like they have previously, to get the chest & include some exclusive content as a reward. 100K CR just doesn’t get it…

The new Aventador seems pretty poor in comparison to the other Aventadors - especially the SV & SVJ.
Although it has the Racing V12 swap (which gives it an advantage over the two) it’s nearly 100kg heavier and has enormous amounts of drag.
At Copper Canyon as no aero S900 build it was 2 seconds slower than a no aero SVJ and 1.5 seconds slower than a no aero SV.
On Marathon it was nearly 10 seconds slower than the SVJ and 8 seconds slower than the SV.
Something seems off with its PI calculation.
