I don’t know whether to laugh or shake my head at the fact that I knew as soon as I saw the Trial was A class that I’d end up in a team with somebody driving ‘it’.

Literally 100’s of available options in a mode against nerfed AI in stock vehicles but some still go and choose ‘it’.

Ya’ll have an interesting definition of “new”

Speaking of the Trial, it’s definitely NOT “road racing” as stated in the OP but “dirt”.

I saw a lot of people struggling in the seasonal speed zone.
Just use a stock NIO and that should be that

Any advice for the hotwheels driftzone? I’ve been trying for 30 minutes now but I’m always around 4-9,000 points shy.

After a month away, barely scraped through a dirt trial with a quick tune. I think these anything goes trials are silly, you’re just racing other players, the AI are just obstacles in the very beginning of the race.

Can I beat a boneshaker? Not on the scramble with my acceleration, but yes on the sprint when I’m up to speed.

Here’s a nice S1 race tune for the weekly, 3 stars switchback speedzone in either direction downhill or uphill.

The ai is like highly skilled now at trials. They ruined it completely.

You can’t beat the BoneShaker in the scramble because you ran lap time 1:16. I ran around 1:08 with Holden Monaro and finished in front of everyone by a landslide.

I think the NIO actually makes my cool wall. Used it for last weeks trailblazer and set a PB.

Morris Traveler is a nice car, looks :ok_hand:. Not much of a top speed but it handels fairly well and good acceleration.

Would be better if there is one more engine swap possibility like 3.5 racing V6.

You have probably already done it but come downhill and try to take advantage of speed boost just before zone. I’ve slowly improved my PB and now I’m less than 2000 away from target.

Edit: I knew that I could do it with enough stubborness. 204,9k.

Ford Mustang RTR25 and download the most popular S2 drift tune.
I used it for the last seasons 1.000.000 points drift zone and for the hot wheels one. The car basically drifts by itself, so you just need to get it to the end of the zone and you should have enough points

“New to Forza Horizon 5” seems to be a reasonably standard definition of “New” in this context.

That jump was a bit tricky for me. Took me quite a few attempts. Finally nailed it with a long run in the Lotus Evija.

I had one too  Not only that, but he was a complete too. Win at all costs, taking team mates out completely rather than just passing us.Rammed me into final corner of second race then when he still hadn’t got passed me took me out on the finish straight (i was in Elise so he just battered me) . Had half a mind to record it and report him,but not worth the time.Blind something tag

The standard of driving in coop has definitely got worse since they made the AI completely inept. 50-50 chance of getting corner bombed if there is someone within range. Not particularly fun.

Danger zone was fairly hard. Jesko did the job first time when I switched to that though.

In the trial driving hasn’t changed imo. Got corner bombed a couple of times today. Edit: mostly saying it’s always been bad in 5 imo. Maybe I just have forgotten it being better.

Not sure if you are talking about the danger sign or speed zone. The danger sign was easy with @geistwriter s F5. I just lifted on the accelerator on the corner and then was golden.

The speed zone completed with the 599xxe and then I tried it with the Mercedes CLR with the JumpyArdvarkITA tune that I think you had recommended for another speed zone many series back. My apologies if my recollection is off but the Benz made it enjoyable.

Agreed, ran the trial in a appropriately built Audi S1, won both races by a large margin. Fortunately, we completed it in 2 races.

Managed to beat “It” in both Trial races with the Welcome Pack Bronco R of all things. Feels good man.
