Thanks, much appreciated.

A lot of retro supercars in this series.

Time to take a break from rivals for some tuning.:slightly_smiling_face:

Retro Supercars…hmm…and more retro supercars lol.

Tried the new Countach on the Calle Principal speed trap.
200mph is a bit of a tall order for it. Managed 197 so far.
Will keep trying.

Edit: figures I’d get 203 on the next run.

Just like the ford gt’s of old…why didn’t they add some more upgrades/aero to the countach!!!

I moved on to trying out my S1 retro supercars on the Forest Escape danger sign.

NGL, 1050 feet seems out of reach for my current handling builds. Going to take some rebuilding.

I used the mercedes sl last week with a top speed of 279 mph to get 1400 feet I think. I hit that sign about 230 mph…so gotta use one with at least the ability to hit it at 225 mph or above. I gotta get in there and mess with it.

seems drag tires are needed. Barely got it…but got it at least. Leaves me time to work on it now and get to about 1200 at least.

I am sure their are faster cars…but I think I will use the carrera because it never gets any use at all. 1105 not shabby for a big old chunky car with horrible handling pi lol.

Tested this morning and as you can’t really get a long run up 170-175mph is needed off the jump. Getting very similar distance to you in an 05 Ford GT

I ended up using my Hot Wheels build from the other week to get 208 in the trap and 245 on the zone as even my Centenario with no Aero was struggling

I managed to get the main pr stunts easily enough with the Sian and LP 610-4.

Speed Trap “Calle Principal” - S1 Class - Lambos
Achieved: 207.60 MPH Sian / 212.92 MPH Huracan LP 610-4

Speed Zone “Trebol” - S1 Class - Lambos
Achieved: 245.40 MPH LP 610-4 / 247.36 MPH Sian

Rally was fine in the Audi Sport Quattro (129 M) but the HW stunt on the other hand might be one I leave this week because I cannot get higher than 296 M (320.04 Req)

Drag tyres on the Ford GT will do it pretty easily

Drags, engine swap + all upgrades, whatever other upgrades there was room for afterwards, and make final drive the lowest it can go.

For HW, I used Nalak’s XJR-15 and got to 348 m.

I forgot to mention another car type when I edited my preview thread post last night to reflect what I thought of the Trial and this season as a whole.

Retro Super Cars - 7 events in 2 weeks (not even including the PR Stunt here)
Retro Muscle - Firebird as the mainland PR Stunt car, 0 actual events
Retro Hot Hatch - 0 of anything.

Yeah it’s a different class this week but have we ever had the exact same car type restriction in consecutive weeks?

I mean I get the focus on them somewhat but there’s more iconic cars + groups of cars from the 80’s than just the Countach or the Supercars in general PG, like I really hope in the last 2 weeks there’s something using either the 80’s Retro Rally or Rally Monsters cars, I wasn’t around in the 80’s and even my own mother wasn’t a full adult back then but when I think of rally it’s that era that I think of first and I can’t imagine I’m the only one.

B class BMW and Rare Classics are much better Trial restrictions in the following weeks after this, I’m just baffled at why Super Cars is being used again when there’s 5 alternatives just in terms of the Retro categories, you know…

In a Retro themed series?

Got 332m in the TVR Speed 12 with Tenientemm22’s drag tune. SC is 363 362 275. You have to get the two corners before the uphill run to the danger sign spot on though

I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that the HW danger sign info is wrong… just like last week, and half a dozen times before.
