Anyone else ever so slightly confused/annoyed by the fact that the monthly rivals order is different on the playlist page compared to when you actually click on one?

While I’m at it, the game doesn’t let me zoom out further to see the whole map at once, which has been that way forever (meaning, in the previous games as well). ARGH.

All 3 of the mainland PR Stunts are offroad but don’t bother changing tunes if you’re planning on using the Pulsar in the Trial as well, just passed the targets for all 3 very easily with Mars’ road tune.

Assuming everyone has done the monthly Rivals that means the 20pts (25 if you take it to the RA SC as well) can be achieved with just one single car + tune today.

I’ve been pushed off the track in THREE different attempts at the Trial so far, every time by a team “mate”. And in all of them AT LEAST the two last places were human players, so we would have lost anyway.

What a great start to a new Forza Horizon week.

Was in the trial for the first time ever with a forum member - Salfox69

Started at the back once again on Hilltop  but finally caught a break on Wetland starting 2nd which is level with 1st on there.

AI were all over the place again with the random swerving, one even went way off into the grass on the opening straight of Wetland, they’re more like irritating obstacles to navigate than worthwhile opposition now.

Tune is by AlfaBRO2385 but there’s better choices for auto players, top 5 from my test that has carried on throughout the week thanks to the #1 tune…

Skyline '87 (Izzumnizzum ‘YYY’) - 2:07.594
Fairlady '94 (ziperrPL ‘RNA Lite’) - 2:09.613
Silvia '92 (SeeyeahBoss) - 2:10.781
Silvia '94 (ThinkingKnot778) - 2:10.789
370Z Nismo (AlfaBRO2385, drags) - 2:10.931

I don’t know why but I really like the new VW, haven’t spent as much time with a new 20pt car after obtaining it since the Mission R over a year ago.

Once again the Eventlab tiles aren’t working, and restarting the game isn’t having any effect at all. The folder that we used to be able to delete (Turn10.temp.scratch; or whatever it was called) has long gone.

Is there some new folder to delete, or do I restart the game, PC, etc. until it randomly decides to make the Eventlab events playable?

[Soon after.] Restarted the laptop and the Eventlab tiles were working again, but having been fixed, the tiles are back to their old ways.

Huge shout-out to @MisterX74, the creator of the “Calvo’s Karting” EventLab. Absolutely amazing track, really well made and super fun to drive on. I did it in the Lotus 2-Eleven and it was a blast.

It was a pretty decent event lab so thanks to @MisterX74 but it ran like crap on my PC with 30-40 FPS so I dread to think how it would perform on an Xbox One X let alone a Day One Xbox One

A good event lab but it will likely cause problems for some people

Races like that show the issues of the minimap with cramped tracks. Hard to follow anyway, and even worse when there are other drivers ahead. Their circle icons make it harder to see anything.

My event labs were ok on my Xbox One X, only problem i had on them, was that the ai were driving rocket ships, on the Sunset Palms Raceway race, even on above average, the leading AI took off like there was no tomorrow, but in the end i won it, due to some rough play in the end
The leading AI was driving a TVR Speed 12, and i drove the Jaguar XJ220S TWR with an S1 898 tune.
Even with good reliable tunes, the event labs were a real challenge this week, not sure if they upped the ai speed or difficulty this week, but it was alot harder than usual in event labs, at least in single player.
