SUMMER | WET SEASON
SERIES 5: HORIZON RUSH TAKEOVER

The season starts at 6:30am Pacific on March 3rd and closes at the same time on March 10th, 2022.
This is the first season of Series 5.

Welcome to the Horizon Rush Takeover! Jaimin’s crew has been busy preparing for the PR Stunt Carnival as new PR Stunts and a dedicated Stunt Park invite players to leave their mark. To celebrate the PR Stunt Carnival, every week in Series 5 we’ll be adding four new PR Stunts – one of each type: Speed Zone, Danger Sign, Trailblazer and Speed Trap – for a total of 16 new PR Stunts! The Speed Zones will be added permanently, while the others are only available to complete in Series 5 and will feature a special icon to distinguish them from existing PR Stunts. Don’t miss the new Parade Float race. It’s available throughout all of Series 5, however completing it during the Summer “Wet” season unlocks the Green Piñata Outfit.

SERIES PROGRESS

Series total: 208 Points
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

Max, which speed trap/jump, any? Just 3 starred one on highway and nada. No danger sign or trap on map. Open for car and site?

I’m noticing the same: In the Festival Playlist the new PR Stunts are not named correctly (“Trailblazer Trailblazer” instead of “Trailblazer River Rapids” in the screenshot) and don’t show restrictions, and filtering the map by Seasonal PR Stunts doesn’t show them. Try Quit game from the dashboard menu and rebooting to see if that clears it up.

Once that’s cleared up you’ll see the events on the map. Series 5 temporary PR Stunts are marked with a colorful icon.

The weekly new jump is horrible, had to hit it a bunch of times before the car wouldn’t get stuck on something hitting the ramp, or it wouldn’t even read the distance for a while. And the speed trap requires a car that you have to unlock this week first?? That’s a new one.

I’ll accept that my copy/paste errors are not the standard expected for this brand, but I’m not going to pass along toxic demands to terminate someone’s income and career path over an event unlock which can be obtained fairly easily through other events in the season. Respect is a two way street. Being part of a healthy community means tempering your opinions for constructive criticism.

Speed Trap east resort is bugged. I used the S1 KTM X-Bow and it says I have the incorrect car.

The speed trap requires using the new KTM car that you get for getting to 20 points for the week.

Your efforts are fine. You didn’t create the issue, you’re trying to help.

I start each weekly with expectation of fun. I dislike flaws. I plan ahead. I like people like you and others here that do things right, and well, paid or unpaid. It is grating this week, and even you experienced it, posted screen shots.

The requirement car for the weekly event completion to get points to win same car it is just beyond words.

And the prize you win with the award car is the FT car that player uses to get points to win the required car. (Yes, there are other ways, but stunts are headliners)

That’s virtually a paradox.

Is there only 1 race in this championship? I’ve started it and won it twice and it’s not unlocking unfortunately.

Edit - The accolade has unlocked, but it is not completed on the playlist nor did I get the outfit.
