Thanks Max - an earlier than usual post. :+1:

Greatly appreciated again Thanks! :+1:

Any chance you could include all the details like we used to have from the Forza Wiki page back in the day when it posted all four seasons for the series just before it released and with full descriptions of Cars, Restrictions, Rewards and a full description of the events - especially in eventlabs and Weeklies rather than a summary of stuff. It had the full text of all the events from the playlist.
I really miss Forza Wiki and no idea why it was pulled.
It let me set up my spreadsheet for the month ahead well in advance without spending hours sorting it out before I could start even playing each season one at a time.
You can still get it for each season but not till a couple of days after which by then I’ve already finished it anyway.

I’ll target Friday this week for Spring, and for Series 45 I’ll try to get all four weeks up in Summer season.

I guess a followup to that would be: does everyone prefer to continue individual topics for each week, or would you want a mega topic that is updated monthly and has a calendar index in the first post (similar to the Horizon Backstage topic)?

Vintage Racers on Chihuahua :joy:

So basically only the T35 C and Blower are worth using with Lookout being the 2nd course, the rest will have no choice but to be on bad tire compounds for those two courses, best of luck to all you stock users out there with that SC, I’ll give them all a quick test now though.

Also seeing as I mentioned testing if anyone sees this thread first and wants an idea of most of the Trial cars’ capabilities…

Thanks. I would appreciate that.
Personally I would prefer the full series events ( with Full descriptions like they have in Forza Wiki )
Yes, you could say geek but I like to have my spreadsheet fully ready to go when the season launches instead of spending hours updating it before I can start playing the game.
It’s what I always did before Forza Wiki was cut short of releasing the details.
Also gave me the chance to see the upcoming weekly cars, what I might need to tune or even sell to drop the garage down before all the new duplicates started to get chucked in there with no say about accepting or refusing.
If you could get the team to just save them ( and wheelspins ) till later after the event was finished it would help a lot with garage space limits.
Even in the middle of an event it takes a couple of secs to choose or deny so wouldn’t stop the run of the event especially when there’s usually a bit of a wait between loading the next one anyway.

This completely contradicts what you said to me and Abell only a couple of days ago in the current season thread…

If this is how you see seasonal stuff…

Then all that prep is just straight up bizarre and follows no logic whatsoever.

Basically, I have no time to prep for the season so that’s why I just have to pick something that I think might work. I spend ages on each event evaluating cars to see what might be the best choice but just have to plump for what I think I have that could get the job done.
Hence the snap decisions.
I know you’re a seasoned gamer and have a lot of mental space to remember tracks, tunes, etc, but I don’t have that ability these days.
Sorry if I confused you with this.
There is no logic because I have to just review car stats before the event and pick something.

As mentioned in other posts / threads I work long hours during the week - usually at least 12 to 14 hours during the week - and don’t get a lot of time during the week to prep and a small window of actual gameplay, so having all the info for the season ahead would just help to at least work some stuff out in the weekend after the series starts or preferably the weekend before.

I can’t say that I agree with having a single series thread. It sounds difficult/annoying to find something for a current season without having to look through previous seasons. May as well use discord then. Tbh I’d be surprised if Max didn’t have the ability to set each season thread up ahead of time and schedule each to post on the appropriate day/time.

The threads for the previous seasons are still accessible. I use this search to find them for season 20. Changing the “S20” to whatever other series seems reliable with the exception of the first few series. It appears that requirements are changing only for the event labs. The confirmation in the new thread each time is nice though.

B Vintage Racers (Chihuahua Circuit)

Bentley Blower (YaeMarucat, race) - 59.343
Bugatti T35 C (Saeenu, rallies) - 59.710
Auto Union (TGM, stock) - 1:01.979
Napier Railton (TGM, Vintage race) - 1:02.145 (contender for worst brakes in the game)
Maserati 8CTF (zombiejesus52, RWD, Vintage white wall) - 1:02.779
Merc W154 (Fenrir3268, RWD, Vintage white wall) - 1:03.280

Yeah…bad, bottom two can’t do AWD swap and stay in B class on any tires, was rough just getting those poor times out of them.

Have Vintage Racers ever had a decent event? They were the restriction for the HW SC a while back and now in this + retrospectively Series 20 their first 2 races are on ridiculous courses for all but 2 of the cars.

Also would have been nice if the Alfa P3 from FH4 had made a return at some point, that used to be the Vintage Racers car I used in that game, and the restriction has only ever had 1 new addition, the Maserati which I think I’m right in saying was just the 2nd ever exclusive car added.

Whichever is easiest for you, whole thing put up under one topic would be great, re Aaorta’s request, I’ve been trawling through LostPhoenix’s y/tube past vids to get all the details for each event :+1: :sparkling_heart:

I will keep posting the screenshots for the events for as long as I have them and they are needed but I do not have the full event screenshots in my more recent videos so it would be nice to have the information officially too

It has rear brakes only without an upgrade and is the heaviest of the bunch. It must have been fun irl :+1:

I doubt it will be any harder to navigate than previous. The seasons will still get posted as separate groups. Maybe in one thread or maybe split into four separate ones ( personally I’d just go for one thread per series with each of the 4 seasons listed in order, then you’d only have to look at one thread per series instead of multiple threads filling the forum ) but they all get posted on the same day - just before the series starts - just like Forza Wiki used to do.
Alternatively, they could just let Forza Wiki start doing it again the way they used to and just give a link.

Went with the F&F Flip Car for fun. Quite a capable vehicle.
Its so wide that it’s impossible to miss a checkpoint.
