Pretty much just a repeat of last week tune wise, trimmed down with 2 additions…

A Super Saloons (Tapalpa Trail)

Jag XFR-S – 1:57.869
BMW 1M – 1:58.151
Jag XE-S – 1:58.210
Merc C63 AMG – 1:58.268
Lexus RC F – 1:58.294
Audi RS E-Tron (No0bStEr9919) – 1:58.669
Infiniti Q60 – 1:58.887
MG MG6 XPower – 1:58.945

M5 '09 (Rocklxd) – 1:59.445
Toyota Camry – 1:59.461
Caddy Limo – 1:59.670
Bentley Flying Spur – 1:59.937

Volvo V60 – 2:00.280
Lynk & Co 03+ – 2:00.787
Nissan Sentra (Atelieze) – 2:00.946

MG MG7 (superq168) – 2:01.313

Xpeng P7 – 2:02.439

Merc SL63 (stock) – 2:10.064

Use whatever you did last week nothing more to it to be honest, nice to see the 1M finally lose to something but it’s not worth me sharing the Jag for the sake of 0.282, chances are the 1M would make that time back up on Teotihuacan (and will definitely be quicker on Mulegé Town if your Trial goes to a 3rd race) so it’s still likely the best overall choice.

And it will appear yet again next week :joy:

Would be nice if they would acutally write “ Keep it stock “ in the game aswell, so the second chapter of this weeks Forzathon would complete…
It does not say that on the Swedish translation…

Easy team win in trial despite my driving.

Wow, just could not get the 1M to turn. Missed a CP in each race punting me to last both times. Recovered but not good

My inability to drive continued in the sc as well. Could be cold hands, not that warm here atm

That’s a nice paint - thanks.

I don’t normally plug my own tunes out of the blue but barring maybe 2-3 cars the Javelin’s what I’ve put more time + effort into than any other car.

I have 3 tunes up for it, one holds fastest auto on B Marathon and was the only conventional build that could get rid of the powerbuild time I hated having up for about 2 years.

The other two are C class, one for Colossus where it’s the only auto time under 19 minutes, and the other for again Marathon where it’s the only auto time under 10 minutes, for all 3 you have to scroll a long way down the respective leaderboards before you find another auto time that isn’t a powerbuild, it essentially makes using those in auto redundant when it’s faster and miles easier to drive.

Regardless though please don’t make it an A Road/Street build like the recommended tune this week, even if it was well built and tuned (it won’t be, nobody who genuinely knows their stuff would make it for that in the first place) it’ll be no good there, truckloads of better A class cars and the GTO Judge is miles better even just within Classic Muscle, heck it may not even be the best of the 3 AMC’s for A Road/Street.

C Road/Street, anything apart from CC in B class or A Dirt/CC, you’ll have a genuinely good or even great car if you get a good tune for any of those instead.

What’s in the boxes?

Maybe that freaky monkey vinyl caused the boxes to tremble in fear…

If we take into account the fact that Forza Horizon 6 will take place in Japan, then these boxes contain Tamagotchi, and apparently they want to eat. They’ve definitely already started having hunger cramps, which is why the boxes are shaking so much.

So this is a new one. I’ve had a Tour race before where the AI all disappear and we cruise to an easy win, but this time the top four AI apparently broke some sort of interdimensional barrier and finished El Descenso in 1:08 or so. My team came in 5th through 7th without a single AI car on the course. That seems fair.

Apparently past me did those two PR stunts without buying any car upgrades but I have no idea how, because even with throwing upgrades on there and tinkering with the gearing I just barely managed both of them. What a terrible restriction and target.

I gave up at 159.78 with it bone stock, got various 159’s then about 2 minutes after that .78 it started raining so gave up, lowering the downforce and lengthening the gear made it easy.

The stock setups on cars are pretty much always poor though, the ARB and diff settings in particular are usually horrible, way too stiff and understeery.

Yeah, normally after struggling in stock I would have assumed I’d upgraded it last time this playlist came around, but when I went to the test track I hadn’t purchased any upgrades for the car. (Unless the car requirement changed this time for some reason.) Even upgrading it was a pain, because the lowest engine/battery upgrade put it just over the line into S2, and I had to grab one of the tires to dip it back down, and after all of that I still needed to adjust the final drive to get just enough top speed to make it through. This car has all the aerodynamic properties of a brick. I think I could have made the danger sign goal stock with some more runs, since I was coming up just 20 feet short, but at that point I didn’t feel like bothering.

Oh right, this week had the single-worst race in Playlist history: S1 Modern Muscle on the Hot Wheels offroad ice track. I challenge anyone here to take the Anniversary Viper out on that thing. It’s completely undrivable.
