Horrid drive but it’s RWD with semi-slicks for stock tires and that track is the only one in the whole game with snow where any inappropriate tire compound will have even less grip than on a standard CC surface.
You certainly did much better than me. I tried it three times and couldn’t crack 6th, which wasn’t even enough to win the championship. (Driving it on a keyboard absolutely did not help matters.) I wound up downgrading to the [REDACTED] because its lower power meant I could get at least some small measure of grip.
Not in a month of sundays…
As i’ve said in the past i’m very much at the point where AWD, offroad tires and suspension, a maxed out engine and as little wall contact as i can get away with are my solution to everything hotwheels related. Its not big, its not clever but it gets it done.
Major kudos for trying to keep things sane.
Honestly I have very little trouble with most Hot Wheels races (the easy solution is to value a car with top speed over anything else, since you can wall-bang your way to victory), and even the offroad tracks aren’t a big deal if the car choice is sane. It’s just that this particular restriction is so pants-on-head stupid that some of the cars in it are nearly impossible to handle.
