Hotfix notice

On March 6 we released a hotfix to address the points issues with the Summer Festival Playlist. Due to severe stability issues on the hotfix PC build, we’ve rolled back the update on Windows PC (not Steam) and Xbox Consoles. We apologize for the inconvenience and will work hard to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We’ll be in touch about the next release which will correct the issues affecting progression in the Festival Playlist as soon as possible. We encourage players to continue playing Festival Playlist activities as the hotfix, once implemented, will still provide the associated Playlist points retroactively.

But the question is “how many points will we actually be able to get?” Will the Backstage Pass even be obtainable?

I’ll share my Supra on Wednesday but if you drive MC the Syclone has the 2nd + 4th fastest times on Panoramica’s board, the 22B Impreza 6th + 9th, there’s an Eclipse at #37 and an R33 Skyline at #68, all ahead of my Supra at #87, and of the 67 legitimate times ahead of me 29 of them in total are those cars mentioned.

That Supervan will also be a good choice for the Trial in the season after this.

thank you.

If anyone wants to have a look at the screenshots, I’ve posted a separate thread so that the images don’t overload this thread

Thank you!

Since I’d never tried them all I decided to test all the Unlimited Buggies on Foto Final just now for this upcoming seasonal.

Wow these things should never be put anywhere near CC sprints :man_facepalming:

This was the only one even slightly worthwhile for that track, all of them have awful top speeds but that has over twice the power of the other usable options so at least it gets there quicker + holds what little speed it has a bit better.

Still not good though, there are a bunch of C600 Scout times quicker than it.

2:14.777 from a Cholla with Flok2104’s tune was the next best, my PB before I started was somewhere in the low 2:14’s with a silly Jeep Trackhawk on drag tires, the Exocet, Nomad, Rip Rod and base game Alumicraft were nowhere near even the Cholla’s time.

On Dirt and the tighter CC circuits this is I’m sure a good restriction, they’re all very stable but responsive in the corners, and have good acceleration up to around 100-110mph but it’s a total snoozefest on any of the CC sprints where power + top speed pretty much always prevails.

Since the picture will likely work I wanted something new (to me at least) for the 20 GR Supra. It’s shared if anyone is interested. Enjoy!

The EventLabs for this week were originally set with S2 998 Anything Goes. Neither had any AI opponents, just like the original Summer ones.

STATUS: March 6
The hotfix for the Festival Playlist will be live later today. All players will be gifted the Lamborghini Huracan STO and a Backstage Pass through the Message Center, and players who had earned the required points during the Summer season will also be able to redeem the STO and Backstage Pass from the Summer season screen.

Players will experience these issues with the Autumn season until the hotfix is applied, but the points and progress for any completed events will be given retroactively. We are still working on the Treasure Hunt issue, but any players who completed an event in the Summer Season will receive this retroactively.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Good to see the Yaris won the backstage pass however I think most people wanted the i30 and the Thing

Was planning to go with something off meta but wimped out and went with the NSX.

Thought maybe the faster Diablo’s and F50 could be tough on Panoramica but superior handling won the day.
Got battered in both races by teammates and drivatars alike while fighting my way through the pack but it worked out in the end.

Hi Forza Team,
First of all, I’d like to thank you for the great playlist this month-the rewards look really good. Secondly, I’d like to discuss last week’s playlist a bit. I believe that Forza Horizon 5 players deserve compensation regarding the bug with the points. I would really appreciate it if you placed all four of the weekly Backstage Voting cars-RS7, Aventador, Mercedes SL, and MG-into the shop. These are beautiful cars, and so far, no proper compensation for the bug has been suggested on your part.

Best regards,
WH1TEDR1V3R

We got the sto and the backstage pass.

Nothing else is needed.

yeah but I’ll have two STOs once the points are fixed and a 46th Backstage Pass or so.
