Just out of curiosity, how does one find who is #1 for various tunes?
remote support from random authoritarian states that is not intended to but unfortunately does have disruptive effects on states that prefer not to have authoritarian governments or invade other countries
Click on the ‘Find Tuning Setups’ tile or the load tuning setups tile. Access the tune search section where you can put in share codes or creators names and just search with no name or share code and it will bring up the list of tunes in order of their all time rankings.
short version:
do a tune search with all blank fields, it’ll display all the tunes ranked in order for the car you’re in
I might have missed part of the conversation but what order? Good to clarify, I do sometimes look for tunes (not buttering you up here but usually your tunes).
ranking is total downloads + uses + likes combined, same formula that gets you legendary at 50k
700 downloads and 700 uses is ranked higher than 1350 downloads, they’ll be listed in descending order of this total number
the top-top-ranked tunes will have 2-5 stars, which reflects their total relative to the entire total for that car
this just accounts for popularity, not quality, obviously
One of the truly broken aspects of the game & in more than just tunes obviously. The focus on “notoriety by any means” has managed to dilute the underlying quality & effort of those truly passionate about & invested in, the game.
I’m not impressed at all with how the devs have been handling reward cars the last few months. This is the 3rd time most of the 40pt reward cars have been offered like the Porsche Mission racer, but there’s a lot of other previous exclusives that have been in the game since launch like the Donkervoort and others that haven’t been offered at all in the last 18 months and are nonexistent on the auction house.
The reward cars for most of the events are still worthless auto show cars that have negative value for most players since they have no credit value and have a negative time value to navigate the UI to gift/trash them.
The whole time gated exclusive car thing is a mess that needs to go away, but in the meantime if the devs are reading these messages then I encourage them to look at the backlog of exclusive cars that haven’t been offered in a long time and start putting those back in rotation again since there’s no supply of these cars at all in the AH (which is a whole big problem in and of itself that also needs to be addressed).
totally agree with this
At this stage in the life of the game, I would think more releases into the Autoshow, but given the perceived perpetuation of the game in the absence of significant future content, using them as 40pt playlist cars seems more likely to farm further engagement potential.
there’s a lot of life left in this game, we still might see something like backstage passes. I was just as frustrated when I picked up FH4 late in the game, but i did end up with every car
yeah, the current system sort of dictates the way people play the game now. the only reason I do a quick tune for every reward car is to make sure there’s at least one decent one in the top of the rankings, amidst all the weird mid-s2 spam drag tunes, etc

I see the reward cars for seasonal championships and such as being for new players. It can save them some credits.
They wouldn’t be relevant to long time dedicated players regardless of what they are because they’ll already have them and an inexhaustible supply of credits.
It has a lot of life left in it by necessity if we don’t see FH6 until 2026, which I suspect will be the case.
They better have more than just new cars and continuing the festival playlist if we have to wait that long.
lol not a chance this game goes on for another 2 years
I’ve seen your time on the board for me at least
I’m not able to see your times Zip & despite having completed both, my times are also still missing (from my view anyway); not sure if anyone else can see them…
