Summer Season Festival Playlist (FH5 Modern Horizons - S35)

Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is this week’s new exclusive reward car from the Festival Playlist. The 2023 KIA EV6 GT is unlocked with 80 points from the Series.

SUMMER | WET SEASON

The season starts at 7:30am Pacific on June 20 and ends Thursday, June 27, 2024 2:30 PM
This is the first season of the Modern Horizons series.

PLAYLIST POINTS

Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

SEASON EVENT DETAILS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion. You must have unlocked the Hall of Fame with Accolade points to enter the Trial. Access to Rally Adventure events require defeating the three team champions. Access to Hot Wheels events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC; users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

Could have won this in 2 but literally 2-3 seconds from receiving the DNF’s the Brocky user lost a place on Jungle, perhaps if I hadn’t started at the back on there I could have finished in time for the 200pt swing not to have happened.

Can’t say much about the team as I barely saw them, the Focus is the meta car for this but it would be daft if I made + shared a tune then didn’t use it myself.

If you don’t usually do every event every season but want the Kia ASAP I’d suggest just doing 60pts this week so you can leave out the stuff you like least, we can’t get the Kia until next season regardless so may as well make it so that the 20pts next season will give you both that + the Ioniq at the same time.

Gave the Transit a shot. Probably could have caught the AI on Ruta Norte if a teammate wouldn’t have made me eat a line of guardrails.

Sunhaven sucks. And it definitely wasn’t made for 12 cars.

I started at the back, and thus a level above everyone else. Meaning, I dropped down after a couple of meters (stopping me dead) and couldn’t catch up for the rest of the race. Player in first even lapped me.

This is what I was saying to TGM the other day. Just don’t follow sepis tuning for it lol. It handles nicely and the acceleration is fun. I tuned about 5 or 6 for this one so I can have fun during the weekend to. I have yet to do the trial…but starting with the 13, then going with the focus, then the fiesta, and then I will do the transit tomorrow probably with my 18 and s5. It’s a fun track…the transit throws a wrench at people who are expecting all 13’s or focus’s.

We complain a lot about them missing cars in restrictions, this time they got the Exorcist in the Camaro restriction. Nice, i wasn’t sure that would get in.

That is good…I have to redo the trial right now. Started…and some guy was half way done with the race in 30 seconds lol. Not playing with the modders today. I see one…I just redo it. Not going to go through that frustration hoping they bail on a corner.

Okay first run and was very happy to rekindle my fh4 rivalry with vex lol. Their grandmaster ranking in fh4 vs my prestige 4…which in message they think being a 10 prestige entitles them to winning. Apparently not. What a great second race though. I went with less speed on the 2013 for better handling…put front aero…1.96 zero to sixty, and rallies :). It’s a monsta on corners.

So the trial… Probably not super original but I used a Crown Vic in full cop car setup. Three players showed up in cars under 710pi.

I started towards the back of the players, passed everyone and started the police traffic break on the drivatars before the first left hand bend. The other 2 tuned drivers caught up after a bit. Similar play out on the north route though one drivatar took a bit more to run down. It didn’t seem that we’d have won without that tactic.

Tune shared, lights, push bars, street tires, no aero. If you can’t brake though it’s probably not the right tune for you. Enjoy!

Ran the transit, shadows tune.

Second to ai only cos I kept hitting guard railing.

Both finished well ahead of the rest in first race

Easily won the second but team lost with two in last two places despite being ahead over half way thru

Third event… Dragged along an ai right behind me from about half way point. Team win

Nice transit tune!
