Spring Season Festival Playlist (FH5 Series 23 - Summer Party)

Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes, and provide feedback with the polls in post #2.

The 1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am SD-455 is this week’s newest exclusive reward car for 20 Seasonal Points.

SPRING | HOT SEASON

The season starts at 7:30am Pacific on August 3rd and ends Thursday, August 17, 2023 2:30 PM
This is the fourth and closing season of Summer Party (Series 23).

PLAYLIST POINTS

Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

SEASON EVENT DETAILS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion. You must have unlocked the Hall of Fame with Accolade points to enter the Trial. Access to Rally Adventure events require defeating the three team champions. Access to Hot Wheels events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC; users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

All the testing myself and @ziperrPL did in anticipation and I change my mind at the last minute and go for something sensible.

No not sensible, the complete opposite of that…

People in the TTS + Bronco were both corner bombers as I could tell from their markers going into some corners, I also got plowed into on Bajio by an AI, ironically by the BS one.

The car was entirely how you would imagine it, good enough to win comfortably here but that’s not saying much, tune is by Naelm1986 if anyone wants to try it.

TREASURE HUNT

Using the 2017 Bentley Continental Supersports, get 10 WRECKAGE skills (by ramming breakable world objects) - this skill might have a short cooldown, so don’t hit 200 cacti at once and then wonder why it’s not unlocking.

According to @LongFort75 other GT cars might work as well.

I had tested a few different cars and as I had a top 7000 rivals place in the Caterham went to trial with that. Easily won the first race, knowing it better from the testing. 2nd race I came 2nd, after a couple of misjudged corners slowed me down enough for a teammate to pass, so settled there.
I think I will be doing more testing before racing, if only for the practice (rather than the build setup)

Used the Mazda tune by @CashlessPlains8 this season. It’s got some good speed but I was a little squirrely in the corners. And there was a plethora of corner bombers. I could beat plenty of human players but the AI was kinda crazy. Took a few trys before landing a good group of humans.

And I noticed something strange on the AI cars on the podium. Has anyone else noticed that the AI appeared to have street tires? I couldn’t get a clear view but they sure looked like street tires, could possibly be rally tires. But they looked more like street than anything else.
