@Saeenu on Reddit posted that they’ve quietly added some new engine swaps to the Sierra Time Attack Evo.
Apparently, you can now get it to the top of A, S1 and S2 class.
Edit: The engine swaps are the 1.6L I4-Turbo Rally and the Racing 7.2L V8.
Edit2: Decided to try an A800 dirt build with the turbo rally but my top speed is only 145mph, which seems slow for A class.
Oddly enough, it was able to beat the unbeatable AI by 10 seconds on Tulum Trail but they were all using the Xbow GT4, perhaps because it was the only extreme track toy they could get into A class.
yeah, it’ll actually be more useful now. and hopefully it’s eligible in some interesting restrictions.
but unless they come up with a really specific use for it, most people will never know about this, and my 978 tune will keep doubling everything in downloads, combined. the time for these cars to shine is the first week, it’s a shame they botched this one. I like this car, and my outdated tune
I hadn’t done the Hot Wheels championship yet so I gave the Sierra a shot and it got the job done on the 3 hazard sprints.
It handles very well on the offroad race tires and they were helpful on the ice sections of 2 of the sprints and ideal for the primarily off-road 3rd sprint.
Found I didn’t have a design for the weekly Forzathon Challenge Alpine, so spent some time putting this together for anyone interested. As always, thanks to anyone who checks it out & enjoy!
Wanted to just give it a clean look, with accents that highlighted the body contours. I like trying to find that combination in most designs & with something that helps set it apart.
oh, it looks good - sorry if that seemed a bit . . . dunno . . . off, it wasn’t meant to be - humourous was the idea if anything
supposed the design, and that pic, must highlight curves that are similar on Audis and Porsches; I’ve never before looked at that one and seen it, it’s a good redesign of the 1973 version of the car
Anyone else besides me encountering some really bizarre “glitches” today? This is the first time I’ve played this week & upon logging in the first time, I had no messages in the “Message Center” & had to restart the game 3X before they finally showed up.
I then started competing some of the playlist & set times in the Monthly Rivals as my last two events. Upon completing my time for both events, the second event did not show completed for several minutes. Now, when I go back into both events, even though they show as completed, my times are gone…
Can’t say I’ve ever had this happen before. Have restarted the game multiple times & still nothing. Is this a know issue or has the final bit of sanity I had left finally taken leave of me?
Start of game - season says 0/73 but series says 55/292 - Yet all season completions are marked as completed - went over the season completions and came back to first screen - now says 49/73
Probably many more.
Just the usual level of stability and game programming.
Wouldn’t worry - they’ll get there - eventually.
It’s happening to everyone at the moment, Rivals has been a nuisance for me to play since yesterday, geist, Rex and Aleriooon should all be above me on the Wrangler monthly as I’ve had notifications from them all and their times are gone, and I watched my leaderboard position change 5 times in a row cycling between the global/near me/friends boards earlier on.
But I think this has been going on for a bit longer as I had a notification from anon earlier in the week for the Esprit monthly from the previous series and his time had disappeared on Wednesday when I went to go after it.
Great So I’m currently able to see your times for both events; wondering if mine are showing up in other’s views. Oh well…fortunately those are the first 2 Rivals times I’ve ran since last week. Hopefully they get it sorted soon.
Anyone still looking for a car for the seasonal PR stunts, I can offer my Hoonigan RS200 Evo; made quick work of all of them & is my usual go-to car for the S2 Anything Goes restrictions. Thanks & enjoy!
