I applaud that you took time out of your day to shower me with your pedantry.
You would have a point if it said “use BMW M5 to do X” or “use 911 GT2 RS to do X”. But now it just looks like someone is complaining for sake of complaining.
Seems like a short playlist this week. One tricky corner in the Eventlab for which you need speed and a high line. Any contact with the AI is best avoided so I let all the AI pass, they all fell off the track and I never saw them again. Laps 2 and 3 were easy with no AI and none of the AI finished the race. Had a good team for the Trial and used an Eley tune for the Speed Trap.
PG often shorten the full description of cars so that isn’t really a difference.
I would agree with that if it was “Audi R8 V10 Plus 5.2 FSI Quattro” but it is not.
I fail to see how someone would get “Audi R8 V10 Plus” mixed up with “Audi R8 Coupé V10 Plus” even if it was shortened. Not only that, one press of a button would have shown exactly what car it is to be used.
I can understand mistakenly getting in the wrong car because you “thought” it was that car but the choice of car was quite clear and in no way is it PGG or anyone else’s fault that the Player used the wrong car.
umm . . . maybe I’m misunderstanding some posts here but in the EventLab race the weird turn to the left is an error, quite clearly; why the racing line does that is weird but the track goes straight on, banks right and comes back around for a jump that takes you to the place that left turn goes
Yep, great advice. I did this and it was an easy completion.
First trial race was a fairly comfortable win despite one or two players bringing up the rear. At the start of the second race I watched a driver drive right past the checkpoint at the first sharp turn by several feet, so needless to say they wound up dead last and we lost despite 3 of us being in the top 4. Then we absolutely cleaned up in the final race. Simple enough.
As far as I can tell the seasonal speed trap wasn’t doable with a stock Audi R8, but all you have to do is throw in an 1800-credit twin turbo upgrade and you have plenty of power for it. (Wound up doing the same thing to the 918 Spyder for the 250 mph daily task. Plenty of bang for your buck there.) I was going to auto-upgrade the Baja Bug to the top of D-class for the Trailblazer, since it’s usually fairly useless stock, but after giving it a shot stock and only missing the time by a second or two, I managed to find a route that works. If you bear slightly right from the starting point and aim for a straight part of the drift zone ahead, you can curve back around to the left and avoid most of the large sand dunes that really kill your speed. I got it with a few seconds to spare.
I think they must have chose AR12’s event as it’s sort of like a Hotwheels track. The event wasn’t that bad once I figured out how to get around the corner without falling into oblivion. Bit ridiculous however to have a race that the driveatars can’t actually do as they all fell off and kept respawning to fall off again.
When I started the Eventlab I was thinking oh no this is going to be horrid but it actually wasn’t too bad. Got to keep the speed up on the loop section to avoid falling off. Thankfully the AI were pretty woeful and despite falling off on the last lap the AI in 1st also managed to fall off just before the finish line so I was able to complete.
It wasn’t a bad track and do get the Hotwheels theme but it didn’t need to be on the mountain (I suppose that was trying to mimic the HW experience).
Did anything find the trailblazer too easy? 4 secs was laughable - they could have set it at say 11 secs and made it a bit more challenging. Don’t get me wrong sometimes it’s nice to breeze though the playlist but equally it’s nice to get one that’s a little more challenging. Even the driftzone this week was much easier than the previous driftzone challenge in the BMW Formula Drift.
I thought the same with the Trailblazer, didn’t have a look at the required time before I did it, I took a poor route over the dunes that was constantly killing the Bug’s speed with the landing off the jumps and still made it in 9.something.
Nothing will ever top the 60mph speed trap target at the Baja Circuit in the T-100 we once had though.
Yeah did the Trailblazer first time around. Same with the Drift zone one. That however would have been tough if you’re not into drifting as the target score was pretty high. I PB’d it in getting it done.
Why is that Audi RS4 a Right Hand Drive? I can understand if it is a japanese or british car but not on this one.
Another tripe eventlab ![]()
Thanks for that ![]()

For the first time I’m actually going for full completion of a Series. I hate (am rubbish at) drifting and this was looking like a major hurdle but thanks to your tune I got over 129k - just the three Championships to do plus the dailies which are all straight forward so job’s a goodun ![]()
No, its again the proof that they don’t test the playlist event-lab events at all…
Hi, for some reason * Chapter 1: R For Racing | Own and drive the 2003 Volkswagen Golf R32 is not unlocking for me. I have even purchased the car 3 times to try and make it unlock with no joy. Any idea why?? Thanks

I know right…did anyone vet the eventlab to see if it’s compleatable…all the cars just fall off the corkscrew
Just to clarify for the today daily challenge.
You have to win an acceleration race and not a road race as in my translated description.
Hope this help.
