Below are the seasonal events and rewards found in the Campaign / Festival Playlist menu. Use this thread to share tips and tuning setups for completing challenges!

Autumn | STORM SEASON
SERIES 3: HAPPY NEW YEAR

This is the second season of Series 3.
The season starts at 6:30am Pacific on January 13th and closes at the same time on January 20th, 2022.

SERIES PROGRESS

Series total: 266 Points
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

Reward: 2016 Zenvo TS1 (new Exclusive car) (120 points)
Reward: 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (new Exclusive car) (200 points)

SEASON PROGRESS

Total Points: 65
Accumulate points with any combination of completed events this season to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car.

Reward: 2013 Donkervoort D8 GTO (new Exclusive car) (25 points)
Reward: 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 (new Exclusive car) (45 points)

FORZATHON EVENTS

Not only do completing these events earn seasonal points, they also earn Forzathon Points which can be used in the Forzathon Shop.

Forzathon Weekly Challenge: Blower Bentley (5 points)
These four challenges must be completed in sequence for completion.

  • Boys Own | Own and drive the Bentley 4-1/2 Litre
  • Break the Record | Earn a total of 9 stars at Speed Zones in your Bentley 4-1/2 Litre
  • Sweet Taste | Win 3 Road Racing Series Events in your Bentley 4-1/2 Litre
  • Secret Agent | Drive 100 miles in your Bentley 4-1/2 Litre

Forzathon Daily Challenges (1 point each)
Each day a new challenge opens at 6:30am Pacific.

  • Getting Started | Drive 10 miles in Horizon Tour Events
  • Playception | Complete any Festival Playlist Activity
  • Rawrsome | Win 2 Road Racing Events in any Jaguar
  • Ultimate Talent | Earn and bank an Ultimate Skill Chain
  • Waterways | Take a picture at Sierra Verde Dam
  • Taking Stock | Spend 50,000 credits on upgrades
  • Lightning Speeds | Reach 100mph in any Expedition

Forzathon Shop

  • 600 FP Car: 2008 Koenigsegg CCGT (Exclusive car)
  • 400 FP Car: 1994 Ford Supervan 3 (Autoshow car)
  • 75 FP Clothing: Red Round Shades
  • 75 FP Car Horn: Wah Wah Wah Wahhh
  • Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins cost 80 and 300 FP each

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion.

Reminders and Notes:

If you encounter the game not behaving as expected, follow the basic troubleshooting steps before posting:

  1. Read the event requirements - both car type and class - to make sure you are eligible to complete it.
  2. Reboot your device and try again to see if that clears the issue.
  3. Read the Known Issues article at Forza Support and posts in this thread to see if there’s an issue or a workaround.
  4. Report the issue by using the link at the bottom of any article at Forza Support to Submit a Ticket with your details so it can be logged and investigated.

Bentley mileage challenge
Playground Games understands that the Forzathon Weekly Challenge “Blower Bentley Chapter 4: Secret Agent” pushes it from being a fun road trip across Mexico into a bit of a grind. To make up for this, we’re adding 100 Forzathon Points to all #ForzaHorizon5 player accounts today.^ Head to your in-game Message Center, tab over to Gifts, highlight the GIFTED FORZATHON POINTS message, and select Download to add them to your account.

Waterways Daily Forzathon challenge
This challenge unlocks as expected for some users when taking a photo while parked on top of the dam, but it is not working for others unless they disconnect their internet and complete the Baja Outpost photo challenge in the offline Festival Playlist before reconnecting the internet and taking a photo at the dam. Please submit a ticket at Forza Support so the team can investigate the cause of this issue.

Bentley is not available for purchase at Forzathon Shop.
That means you have to pay 4 million cr and buy it at an auto show, buy a random listing on AH, or hope you get lucky with a wheel spin.
This can be a very tough challenge for beginner and other poor players.
And the infamous 100-mile chore is enough to disgust even those players who could afford it.

Some more event prizes are Lancer and Scirocco which can be purchased cheaply at auto shows.

…Hey PG, what happened to you guys?
All of this month’s playlists have a consistent harshness to them, but I can only assume that they were deliberately designed with malice towards the players, or that they were adopted without checking the results of the playlist generator’s random output at all.
I hope the playlists from next month will be more properly checked from the player’s point of view.

That Speed Trap in the Ferrari F40 is a bit tough.For anyone struggling, I managed to get it by about 0.5mph with the following tune:

Purist by Nalak28: 445 380 998

Don’t be put off by it being rear wheel drive or the stats it shows…it accelerates well enough and handles like an AWD once you get past first gear

Thanks. I’ve struggled on this half a dozen times. I keep getting caught on that final bend on the bridge coming from the South.

Approach from north. Two bends: run first wide and turn hard for second. I managed to get it with DJS’s tune which wasn’t cheap + 1,2 million for car. Now to buy that Bentley… I guess.

So you’re gating the weekly challenge behind a 4 million credit car, while offering cars that are available cheap in the dealer as rewards for seasonal championships, and then instead of giving us an exclusive car as a reward for The Trial, you instead reward us with a super wheelspin for what is arguably the worst event type ever concieved in Forza Horizon in what is already an awful multiplayer experience in the first place?

Are you seriously having a laugh? Are you actively wanting us to hate you as a studio and this game?

I already had to really push myself to play this game again and do the seasonals as I loved them in FH4.

This weeks playlist does not really help with me liking the game again.

Had to quit the game earlier having completed 3 of the challenges. ‘Just’ the 100 miles to do. Restarted to find that my progress had been lost. Couldn’t be bothered doing 3 proper races again so tried your one out. Quick and easy progress…thanks for sharing!

Seriously…these series have been terrible. I come on once a week cherry pick the couple of things that aren’t either ahuge waste of time or simply not fun. Then a drive around and do what I want for a couple hours but…then i don’t come back for at least a week. It’s just…not engaging anymore. Iplayed hundreds of hours in every other forza horizon…nothing is truly exciting me in this one yet. I forgive the bugs…I kinda forgive the terrible matchmaking at launch that ended uphaving all my friends quit playing completely. Honestly…do you know how terribly you need to screw up a game that I cant convince game pass subscribers to download it and play with me? It’s not the bugs…i can forgive the bugs you have been diligently fixing them…im just waiting for you to patch the fun back in.

Haha, probably not. I think I’m switching to minimums necessary to get the prizes I want, in this case the second least disliked mustang. The only prize I see this week are the points unfortunately.

I’ve set up a three lap race on The Goliath for driving 100 miles in the Bentley, as this gives you more XP and credits than just driving around aimlessly in free roam for an hour. Share Code: 464 800 054.

I recommend using Ponomar’s S1 tune for the Bentley when doing the above race. Share Code: 852 218 807.

Unlimited Offroaders in A AGAIN?

How many events did we already have with it since launch? Suffering from some sort of manic fixation here?
Could someone please send T10 a list with other exciting car categories? You have somewhat like 30 categories split into 6 classes but seem to rotate the always same 5-6 categories from always same classes. This repetitiveness starts making the season events incredibly boring.
