Welcome to Mexico! Below are the seasonal events and rewards found in the Campaign / Festival Playlist menu. Use this thread to share tips and tuning setups for completing challenges

SUMMER | WET SEASON | SERIES 1: WELCOME TO MEXICO

This is the first season of Series 1.
The season starts at 6:30am Pacific on November 11th and closes the same time November 18th, 2021.

SERIES PROGRESS

Total points: 247
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Hard to Find are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

The DeLorean DMC-12 is this season’s featured Exclusive car.

Total Points: 38
Accumulate points with any combination of completed events this season to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car.

FORZATHON EVENTS

Not only do completing these events earn seasonal points, they also earn Forzathon Points which can be used in the Forzathon Shop.

#Forzathon Weekly Challenge: A True GT (5 points)
These four challenges must be completed in sequence for completion.

  • Own and drive the 2017 Nissan GT-R.
  • Drive 13.5 miles in your Nissan GT-R.
  • Earn a total of 6 stars from Danger Signs in your Nissan GT-R.
  • Earn 2 Awesome Drift Skills in Road Racing Events with your Nissan GT-R.

#Forzathon Daily Challenges (1 point each)
Each day a new challenge opens at 6:30am Pacific.

  • Drive above 250mph for 5 seconds in any car
  • Jump a distance of 1,500 feet in any car
  • Complete a Showcase Event
  • Complete a game of The Eliminator
  • Post a clean lap in any Rivals Event
  • Earn 9 stars in total from Trailblazers
  • Smash 25 items in 30 seconds

  • 600FP car: 2018 Apollo Intensa Emozione (an Autoshow car)
  • 400FP car: 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale (Hard To Find car)
  • Car Horn: Ice Cream Van

SEASON EVENTS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion.

And as expected, it is broken. Challenges are shown as completed on the map, and can’t be completed even if the displayed criteria are met.

Honest question to anyone who can answer - what’s a good use case for Mercedes-AMG ONE? At S2 998 it’s significantly slower than other similarly rated cars, and it also doesn’t have best-in-class cornering like the Senna did in FH4. Does ayone use this car in races successfully, and if so, what’s the use case?

It’s for your collection. Like anything else because only few OP cars will be used.

The Trial apparently requires Hall of Fame status:

“Reach the Hall of Fame or Convoy with a friend in the Hall of Fame to play!”

So I took a R33 S1 900 to jump a Danger Sign. Jumped at 1870ft and it’s not counted as done. What’s up with that?

It’s broken. For me, no matter how far I jump, it tells me I’m 1 meter/3 ft short of the target. I also can’t complete the 250 kph for 5 seconds challenge, and all challenges are shown as completed if looking at the information box on the map.

I didn’t really expect anything else at this point. The game violates every TCR Microsoft has, and yet they released it in this state rather than push it back a month or two just because they wanted it out for the holidays.

I just completed it with this car so there is a technical issue going on for some players.

For stunts that are not recognizing eligible completion try rebooting and go again. If you’re still not getting completion please go to Forza Support and Submit a ticket right away so the team is aware of it:

I was hoping for the forzathon shop to open. Is it supposed to?

I took my Chevy Colorado ZR2 to trial and on first try gor 1st and 4th - best placed player, as team lost both and we were out.
Second try and I get some flashing at start, fall from sky and finally start driving, nobody of other players move, I actually cross finish line 1st, game says 2nd, team wins … how I don’t know
Second race, we actually spawn together, but I again race just against drivatars, that kindly bumps me on first jump, so a spin on landing and drive around to get checkpoint, finish on rear bumper of 1st drivatar, game says 2nd, ccol.
Third race, I spawn on some field, get reset after few seconds and get dropped into actual race, where again only drivatars move, cross finish line 1st, game says 2nd.

We won the trial … game is totally broken :confused:

I’ve managed to win the Making a Splash trial my 1st try thanks to a teammate that was able to overtake some drivatars when it appeared that we would lose in the 3rd race. The Trial requires teamwork and skill from all drivers to ensure that they come out on top and get the sweet reward.

It’s time for me to check out the 2013 Mini X-Raid now and make a B700 tune for it and test out my tune.

ive been doing the arcades solo and several of them with another player.

i use the Horizon Festival menu and fast travel to the arcade

several times i have completed the speed traps event and im not being awarded the 3 PTS in the Festival Playlist

is this event and reward broke?

Has any one had trouble getting the house to register in the Photo task?

Update: Worked after a few tries and various angles with the 2020 Chevy!

Clearing one round is not enough, you need to complete the whole event (3 rounds). So basically impossible with the current state of the arcade.

No luck here. Tried on 3 sides of house too. Hopefully someone finds a way to get it to work.

If you actually “enter” the house (pressing X) and then immediately go into photo mode and snap, it works.

I can’t get the last Forzathon weekly thing with the GT-R: get 2 awesome drifts while in a road race. Done multiple times, doesn’t register.
