Below are the seasonal events and rewards found in the Campaign / Festival Playlist menu. Use this thread to share tips and tuning setups for completing challenges!

WINTER | DRY SEASON
SERIES 1: WELCOME TO MEXICO

This is the third season of Series 1.
The season starts at 6:30am Pacific on November 25th and closes the same time December 2nd, 2021.

SERIES PROGRESS

Total points: 247
Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Hard to Find are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

Accumulate points with any combination of completed events this season to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car.

FORZATHON EVENTS

Not only do completing these events earn seasonal points, they also earn Forzathon Points which can be used in the Forzathon Shop.

#Forzathon Weekly Challenge: Neunelfer (5 points)
These four challenges must be completed in sequence for completion.

  • Own and drive the 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera S.
  • Earn 9 stars from Speed Traps in the 911.
  • Take a photo of the 911.
  • Drive 15 miles in the 911.

#Forzathon Daily Challenges (1 point each)
Each day a new challenge opens at 6:30am Pacific.

  • Earn 9 stars from Speed Traps; Take a photo of the 911; Drive 15 miles
  • Earn 3 Clean Racing Skills in a Dirt Race
  • Earn 6 stars in total from Trailblazers
  • Smash 20 Solar Panels in 30 seconds
  • Win a Street Race in a Modern Supercar
  • Complete a Horizon Tour
  • Win a Drag Race in a Retro Muscle Car
  • Buy 3 cars

Forzathon Shop

  • 600 FP car: 2012 Hennessey Venom GT (an Autoshow car)
  • 400 FP car: 1970 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (Hard to Find car)
  • 75 FP Car Horn: Doom E1M1 High
  • 75 FP Clothing: Light Blue High Tops

SEASON EVENTS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion.

Note that the Trial and two championships have car requirements that are Horizon Special Themes. Themes are groups of selected cars, which you can see in the Blueprint menu when creating your own event. Showing eligible cars from the Festival Playlist will only show the models eligible within the Class restriction for the event. You may have other eligible cars that can be upgraded to become eligible for seasonal eligibility.

For instance, the High Rollers theme is limited to S1 class this week, but the full group is comprised of cars valued at 2 million CR or more, ranging from D class to S2 class:

Season points reward cars are last season’s.

Already getting reports that the “take a photo of the 911” part of the weekly challenge won’t complete if you already have taken a photo of that model previously.

ManteoMax: W.F are you doing with this game? Every season is something f…d up. Pls, fix it ASAP, now, don’t wait. How to complete Forzathon Weekly Challenge and Daily Challanges, when they were completed before challenge?

Max is not on the dev team. He’s a mod, doing his best. He can only say what they allow him to and maybe pass along that a lot of people aren’t happy. They’re probably set up so that the only way for anyone to address issues is through ticket submission. It’s not fair to jump on him for any of this.

Have fun with a horrible trial this early in the game. Took I don’t know 4 attempts. Maybe not do S2 and X until people are used to it. Common sense.

I’ve got this exact problem.

Restarted my Console and I had to start the Weekly Challenge from the start (had to repeat own/speed trap 9 stars) and again the photo wouldn’t register at night.

Honestly I love this game but man they want us to hate it :joy:

This had to be the glitchiest trial I’ve ever had in whole Horizon history. Luckily we managed to get it on second try, but come on. AI cars teleporting through walls?

Seriously LOL open class super hyper power trial … count me out.

Did complete few things and that’s about the time I had for today.
Finished dirt racing in reasonably priced car C 600 - Morris Minor 1000 - tune shared under my gamer tag
Also completed A 800 unlimited offroad trailblazer and event lab in DeBerti Ford F-150 - tune also shared under my gamer tag. Will also use it to fail trough PGG.

Oh gee speed trap refuses the register. What a shock. TEST THIS STIUFF. WHY IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK? GOTY? You must be joking. Unbelievable. Game restart did it. Annoying.

Allowing X class in the Trial is a pretty bewildering thing to do - lots of people with undriveable speed trap machines, and utterly uncatchable AI cars to match them.

How does the Trial work this week? Looks like Class C to S2 or X with upgrades.
Is it just pick an X Class and pray?

That’s really going to help newer players, honestly Forza… just when I start to doubt that you don’t actually want to make this franchise but are too polite to just say it.

They’ve got Fable now so they think they’re beyond this? I don’t know what’s going on but it’s getting worse every day.

Guess what, the trial doesn’t work either

Somehow the number of crowns jumped from 4 to 6 and then all of them disappeared.

In survival it kept saying that I’m the last surviver eventhough there was four of us.

Last week it was buy a car from the auction house. This week it’s buy 3 cars, I assume from anywhere but why is this a thing. Some people might want to hold on to their credits. Others, like me, rarely buy cars. I had everything in fh4 and bought maybe 20 cars throughout the life of the game. I won everything else and only buy when absolutely necessary.

This is becoming more aggravating by the day but I paid for the game so I feel like I need to stick it out. Going to grab some tylenol.

The stadium is a horrible arena and one section of the thing in the middle is bugged, your car sinks into it and you lose almost all your speed.

Also unsure whether it was an exploit, bug or plain cheat but for the 2nd week in a row somebody got out of the arena and sat there during Infected.

Edit: Check out my Xbox Live profile for a truly bizarre glitch in the trial, I would love to see someone at PG explain that.

Sometimes in weekly playground games, it will just spawn me in the open map, with nobody around. Easy to survive or keep the crown, but there are obviously people playing SOMEWHERE, because the scoreboard changes.

I, I really thought, that the move to the DRY season would mean that the seasonal championships would be beyond the “race a sports car in the rain and or mud” stage of things. Go into the high rollers event, and in the first race, the roads are covered in water.
The roads are covered in water, in the dry season. Is it dry in that we don’t have to go racing through rivers anymore?

An open Trial is a TERRIBLE idea. People join with an X class car, leave right away because they can’t control it, leaving the rest of us to compete with X class drivatars.

Trailblazer target is 16 seconds, I did it with 22 left, it says I’m one second too slow. Sigh.
