Had to reset game for treasure chest to appear
PG is really pushing my tolerance levels to the limit with these recent playlists. I’m so close to opting out completely from doing this annoying not thought through unfun weekly busywork.
Same for me. Well, I had to travel to Horizon Festival and then back to the treasure spot for it to appear, although the marker was on the map already before.
I noticed that too!! The Jeep Trailcats AIs are driving like they are in S1 Class and the Night Races are driving like X class. SOOO MANY BUGS this season.
5.5 million to complete this if you consider specifically needing both the f40, trailcat, and blower and then tuning cars. More if a player doesn’t have the other categories in their garage. YIKES!
Does anyone have the Treasure Hunt completed yet? The description led me to believe I needed wreckage skills, but the name itself seems like lucky escapes might be needed? How many?
For lucky escapes I believe one needs to drift closely to a traffic car without touching it.
I think it’s sideswipe skills. I completed it and the chest was there. Hope it goes well for everyone!
Also, I made (barely) the speed trap in an all stock F40 with the tire pressure dropped to the low 20s. I also made the danger sign in a stock 04 Lancer Evo using a full run up and a slight angle to the left. If you add some power it should be straightforward to complete.
Definitely Wreckage Skills. I deliberately tested it out making sure I didn’t perform any Sideswipes and the treasure chest location popped. By the wording I thought I’d only need to do 17? I’m sure I did a lot more than that though so maybe it’s Wrecking Ball skills and not just ordinary Wrecking
Ok. I think it’s the 7th gen skyline, 6th gen gtr and designated R35. I’ll probably be corrected here as well. I had a lot of wreckage skills from trying lucky escapes. Maybe it’s 6 or 7 ultimates? Maybe 35 wreckage? Idk but it at least worked for me this time. Thx!
Doh! Of course, LoL!

You need 6 Ultimate Wrecking Skills
The Trials was easy for me, first try and we won the 2 races (2nd place in the first race and first place to the 2nd race)
For the speed trap with the F40, thanks to Nalak28 for his tune, I did 244km/h after 4 try
The 100 miles is really annoying, especially with this car but I did it and… How to say it nicely… Stop drugs, PG First, I thought it was probably 10 miles but it was really 100 miles and even take the highway waw long to do
For the treasure, it was cool because someone was there to show me where was the chest I honked him to thank him

Agreed, pretty easy trial (for a change).
Only trouble I found was we had 2 out of 5 in our team who were in the Tankpool… when they are close behind you sometimes the truck fills up the screen and you can’t see where you are going. All I could see was the inside of their cab! LoL!
If you’ll have trouble with the seasonal championship ‘Calm Before the Storm’ just pick Aston Martin Vulcan and download Don Joewon Song’s (of course :D) tune and it’ll be a breeze
I’m generally positive with my experience in this game but the Bentley and F40 challenges are extracting the yellow stuff. I still have my car voucher and have 6.6 mill in the way of credits but not a chance am I dropping it all on some old banger I’m then expected to drive for 100 miles. Not for 160 Forzathon points and a wheelspin, that’s for sure.
Very minor screwup but it was enough to send me to the cars list in a moment’s confusion:
The Festival Playlist lists the Blower Bentley as a “1931 Bentley 4-1/2 Litre Supercharged”.
My Cars lists the Blower as a 1930 model.
Carry on.
Hi Max, I know this may have been discussed in another thread, but since this is the official Autumn S3 Festival Playlist thread, can we get confirmation that the Forzathon Weekly Challenge stating “Own and drive the 1931 Bentley 4-1/2 Litre Supercharged” is a typo, since the only Bentley in the Car Collection currently is the 1930 Blower 4-1/2 Litre Supercharged? I don’t want to spend all the time and effort to get the CR necessary for that car if it will not work to complete the Forzathon Challenge. Further clarification here would be greatly appreciated.

That model year is a typo. The one and only Bentley 4-1/2 in the game is the car you need.
-Typo in description
-Progress reset
-100 mile drive?
We know that PG knows about the issues. Next patch better be outstanding.
Who on earth thought this weeks Weekly Challenge was expectable? Forcing players (some of which are new and have no) to buy a 4 MILLION credit Car just to complet it?
Then the problem with the Ridiculous AI when trying to win 3 Circuit Races. They just waltz off into the distance, despite tuning your car to B700 and the AI are more like A800. Then we got to the worst part…100 miles in a 1930s Bentley…100 miles…Seriously?

Why make it harder though ? I went with D 500 because I still had some Road Race accolades to complete for D class and I sure as heck wasn’t going to set the difficulty at Unbeatable Three easy wins, nice drives, accolades collected. Now… that 100 miles, yeah that’s gonna be a chore… or there’s the self driving option. Definitely tuning it faster for that either way. I’ll see how I feel about it later.
