Here’s some screenshots of the Trial eligible vehicles.

Disregard the Mercedes AMG One and AMG CLK GTR FE. Should be able to get the rest of them into A class.

Should be an easy win for the '97 M3 with the widebody kit.
For AMG I would root for both Black Series and the CLK GTR. The AMG brand cars are all terrible.

The sl 65 is not half bad. I am learning that lately the focus is more on handling…and the sl has a higher handling rating than a lot of the bmws…but I am going to go with the car you mentioned, the 2010 bmw, or for a different run the 2023 m2. I really like the way that new m2 sounds lol. One of the few I just like driving around because it is kind of cool.

I can’t really second this. There are quite a couple of them that are competitive in their classes.

Some choices for the Trial.

There’s a lot more. I’ve designs for basically all BMW and MB cars and also a couple of more A 800 tunes especially in the “Super Saloon” category.

Of those under the AMG brand and not AMG under the Mercedes-Benz brand?

AMG One was the worst S2 Hypercar until the Nevera was added. It’s terribly slow.

GT-R is only a shallow hull of its Horizon 4 performance. Lateral g nerf and no available front aero make for weak car, even in its weak category.

GT-S is slightly better than the GT-R in S1 but not good. Extremely slow as an A800 build because it suffers from its stock engine a lot.

GT63 is probably the best of the brand for A800 with the 5.2l V10 swap but still only mid-tier in the Super Saloons category which is average at best.

E63 somewhat similar to the GT 63S but worse.

C63 has abysmal performance with its stock engine and is a clunky car with the V10 on A800.

Even the GT Black Series isn’t that good given what it does irl. Mostly due to the terrible engine and no swap.

The best AMGs are found under the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Both, everything AMG even including the Hammer which shines in S1 900 for example.

My experience with the One is quite the opposite. I drive it in S2 998 and there it’s competitive in the respective Tours but the tracks there are more handling and not so many topspeed ones. In “track mode” it’s a real corner beast.

The GT-R/S are ok in my book but clearly not the best. I use them in S1 sometimes. Interestingly the SLS is better than these two it seems.

I think you’re refering to the 4-Door with GT63? If so that thing is a rocket at S1.

The E 63 S isn’t performing that great at A 800 but in S1 it’s ok. The “normal” E 63 is quite good at A 800 and competitive in Super Saloon Tours for example.

The C 63 S isn’t that good. That’s true. I rarely drive it.

The GT Black is slightly underperforming in S1 but that’s presumably because it already comes with a relative high PI and therefore can’t get tuned much if you want to keep it in that class. I haven’t tested what happens if you go S2 with it.

I like the AMG brand cars for street racing, with stock aero, including the E63 brabus kit, and weight reduction with rallies maybe. but in terms of road/track racing they can’t keep up with the Benz AMG’s

also finally got a decent tune out of the AMG One this week, but I still don’t understand the lack of adjustable aero options

The car has a track mode (you’ve to press a button to engage it). With it selected it has top notch aero.

/edit: Here…

That 2016 M2 Coupe of yours is absolutely fantastic, I will definitely be using that. But there’s a lot of good options for this one.

I don’t know if I will use it…but that 95 bmw livery is outstanding!!! Going to use that today while I drive around and decide between the m2, the 97, or the mercedes sl. Great livery.

Thanks, that’s also one of my all time favourites.

In case somebody is wondering. He’s talking about this one here.

BMW M2 Coupé 2016

SC: Design 208 052 994 - Tune 382 178 066 (A 800)

@SundayDriver585 Not sure if you’re addressing me but if so which “95 bmw livery” are you refering to?

sorry m5…1988…my logitech keyboard is horrible.

I see, thanks. I also have an other similar one for this M5. It originally has an S1 900 tune but the A 800 one will also work of course.

SC: Design 136 204 822 - Tune 599 071 956 (S1 900)

The car is quite nice to drive in general. No matter which class.

I seen someone post on youtube to use the bmw i8 this week. Is that really a sport model?

no it isn’t. it was me that posted that video and I made a mistake. apologies for that. when picking car selections I went with BMW vs AMG not MPower vs AMG so I’ve corrected the description and posted a pinned comment with the BMW M6 Coupe as the recommendation

I am unable to replace the video but the i8 would not count because I have since tested it in Event Lab

Thanks Mr Mosler…this one is slim pickings. Ran almost every car as we do around here. M6 is a good choice…this one I found was not so much all about handling as acceleration. The unbeatable AI is doing 170 at least on that first left turn…
