The 2016 M2 is the most stable for me out of all the options. I have some random tune on it but i’m hitting sub 2:40’s consistently.
I’ve been doing the Trial Blueprint for the first race on unbeatable and have had a few occassions where i wanted to throw the controller at the tv. If the lead AI gets just a bit of a lead after first corner then it’s a real challenge to keep up. Quite a couple of times i had the lead AI beat me by a sec or more on my PB, but if i can peg level or stay right on the back end of the lead AI after the first corner i’ll always come home with the win.
For me, the first corner is what is going to make or break the outcome of the race.
I forsee my own team mates smashing and corner bombing like crazy on this one so i predict the AI will get a lead on a few players coming out of corner 1.
Hopefully i get matched with decent players when i race the Trial.
I have ran this course 15 times today testing different cars. Really no difference in times between the cars if you run the skill level on unbeatable. It is going to be a pile up of epic forzaportions. This one has three or four windy turns that are going to bring out the worst in the rammers lol.
An experienced player and tuner who used to test all his tunes on Blueprints before the Playlist went live frequently made the comment that setting the difficulty level to Unbeatable didn’t match the live Trial and he got more realistic results by slightly turning down the difficulty level.
I am suspecting that he had a good formula…because the unbeatable AI this week on my test runs are ridiculous compared to a lot of other tracks. I swear it’s going to be a pile up beginning on that first turn.

BMW 1997 M3 (Manchester City: for RocketBunny Kit): 144 995 251

BMW 2011 1 Series M Coupe (Mpower Mask): 424 951 558
I wanted to use the m2 tune posted here…but no aero on the first track is a deal breaker for me. First time I am pro aero on these tracks in a while. This one is not going to be one of my fav’s. First time I am a day away and just not sure which car to use.
After tuning and testing I’ve narrowed it down to the 2010 M3 GTS or 1998 AMG CLK GTR.
Going to be a race time decision.
The CLK GTR handles well on drag tires and has great acceleration to hopefully get ahead of the AI early, but the M3 GTS has nice handling and good speed so it’s a tough decision.
Great acceleration sounds like a winner to me. Catching those 1st two drivatars is clutch, and after that you can kinda chill usually. Don’t need to set a world record (and they’ll rubber band behind you anyway).
Kind of glad I ran your tune with it earlier. I was going to just throw a coin up because I got tired of testing out cars with no real decent showings. It is the acceleration that is top with the clk…I found the AI to really be harsh on this track. I can only imagine with a full track the 1st race is going to be like wonderland last week. Maybe worse. Way too many areas for pile ups.

1987 Mercedes-Benz AMG Hammer - SC 173 407 847 (A800)
I hadn’t tuned either of these until this week and just couldn’t decide. They put up almost identical times when testing (with the AMG being slightly faster by fractions of seconds) but I think the BMW handles slightly better. Decisions, decisions…

When racing unbeatable AI…on a very tight turny track. I prefer it. Some don’t. That is just my way. Everyone has their own style. I just prefer the fly on paper race style lol.
Have you found out if this is actually eligible? It doesn’t show up if you look at the restriction in create blueprint along with 4 other BMW’s that should also be included but aren’t.
No, I haven’t and wouldn’t even be surprised if it isn’t as PGG simply doesn’t seems to be able to even get such simple things in order. The 911 Speedster that was added ages ago still isn’t available in the “Open Top” tours for example. They obviously don’t care and don’t update the game to incorporate new additions into the existing events and such.
This company is simply lost. It’s a shame but unfortunately the reality.
