Winter Season Festival Playlist (FH5 Winter Wonderland - S28)

Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes.

The Lotus 2-Eleven is this week’s new exclusive reward car.

WINTER | DRY SEASON

The season starts at 6:30am Pacific on December 7 and ends Thursday, December 14, 2023 2:30 PM
This is the first season of the Winter Wonderland series.

PLAYLIST POINTS

Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

  • Series Reward: 2022 Porsche Mission R (Seasonal Exclusive) (80 points)
  • Series Reward: 2011 Koenigsegg Agera (Seasonal Exclusive) (160 points)

SEASON EVENT DETAILS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion. You must have unlocked the Hall of Fame with Accolade points to enter the Trial. Access to Rally Adventure events require defeating the three team champions. Access to Hot Wheels events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC; users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

The total points from Monthly events are divided by four when applied to individual seasons. Completing the events will apply 1 point for each Rivals event (1 x 2) = 4 points maximum applied to each season. Post a clean lap to complete Rivals events; cars are stock and provided as free rentals.

My favorites for this week are the Elemental and the Exorcist. The Elemental is white and carbon fiber (exclusively), incorporating the symbols for wind/earth/water/fire. The exorcist has white on top with 2-tone white underneath. I’m excited for the color change when it’s gonna go darrrrk. (Black on black, but also some other changes.)

The thing has 1 download and like (that’s me), but if you look it up in her creative hub it’s way over to the left (because I’ve driven it a TON… and they sort by likes + downloads + USES… event though they don’t display uses… which is terrible UI).

They went FULL circuit on the trial. I failed first time with the elemental (got knocked out of checkpoints twice on the first race). Making another go of it.

I don’t know why people can’t do the trial today. Took 7 tries. It’s not even difficult tracks. What’s going on? Just smashing each other to pieces. It’s insane. Insists on starting me in last :man_shrugging:

People are terrible at turns? Weird.

The trails definitely favor the humans, where the circuits tend to benefit the drivatars (that actually handle curves). there’s more margin for those supernaturally smooth corners and less space for the humans to gun the accelerator (in places where maybe they shouldn’t).

We’ll get through this, but yeah… definitely a multiple attempt week.

Hooray! Got it on my second try.

Both attempts were with the Elemental. First one was with @x_ShadowsBane_x and the second was with @TonyKartRcr. Both tunes were great, and honestly I think team composition had more impact than anything else. My second team had multiple Mclaren 600LTs, and the top performers were in the Mclaren and a 2016 911 GT3 RS. Well, and the Elemental. (I got first place on the second race.)

Thanks for trying out the tine. I had originally planned on using the Shelby GT350R but decided to go with the Elemental with your livery.

Very nice livery.

For whatever reason my tune didn’t perform as well as it did in testing.
Something felt off with it. Maybe understeer but that shouldn’t happen with the Elemental.
Will have to investigate further.

Check it out! You can put vinyl on the sides of the rear wing. It’s mapped to the side grouping. (I’m not ACTUALLY going to use the demon logo… at least… not on the Elemental.)

I do like the red/carbon better than the black/carbon, so red will probably be color changeup color on Saturday or whenever the downloads start to dry up. I also already mocked up the color change on the Exorcist… it’s gonna be epic.

The 2013 Ariel Atom was an S2 by default in the Shop. Only found an S1 in the Auction House.
I ended up using the Lotus 2-Eleven (auto upgraded to S1) from the Season Progress Reward and I smoked the competition.
