The Veneno is 800fp in the shop, should it be 700fp or has inflation been added to Forza to be more lifelike ?

Most surprising Trial in a long time, got put in a team with a LVL1000+ Open player and ended up having 2 good races where we were inches from each other almost the entire time, 1 win each.

AI was brainless even by it’s very low standards though, swerving all over the place at the start of both races.

I just finished the Event Lab. My eyes hurt.

Yes. lol. Visually stunning. Literally. Have to applaud the work that went into it though. Just wish I’d worn my shades :sunglasses:

Also note that the prize for the Hot Wheels championship is the Cayman GTS, not the GT4. Both use the same name.

Speed trap and zones straightforward. Ignore road, straight shots easy for trap and zone entry.
Sineap C600 R31 works for that series.

Is ‘Let it Snow’ supposed to count towards the Gotta Smash 'Em All achievement? I just did it and it registered in the playlist but didn’t make the Xbox achievement tracker go up.

Oh no, a bug. I seem to recall some had that issue. Need 25? Perhaps? Rewind your friend.

I tried getting several more but still no good. Maybe if I keep doing it, it would work? I’ll try some more. (I feel a bit silly doing it.)

@FullNietzsche My 3 year old grandson absolutely loves to ‘help me’ smash all the Christmas decorations we can, and then laugh and laugh. I know, no points, no rewards in game, but the real reward is in the enjoyment of this activity with my grandson. (he also gets a kick out of driving every car he can into any available water. He is getting pretty good driving with the controller. )

Heh all,

Not that the forzathon is that hard, but put up a tune called “easy forzathon” for the VUHL.

Seasonal tunes coming eventually. Appreciate the support/likes for the tunes, all. Thanks.

Did a load more snowmen smashing, made sure to get over 25 where it actually said ‘snowman’ (sometimes it didn’t so I didn’t count those) but still no movement on the tracker. Looks like it’s broken.

These were all different ones, no rewind used.

btw, the seasonal PR stunts seem tough again.

edit - next day and I’ve tried some more and it has now gone up to 80% (4 of 5). I don’t know exactly what triggered it. I tried completing another task on the playlist to see if that would wake it up, and then switched to solo mode (which I heard might help) and hit a few more snowmen. Checked and it was now 80%. Which of those did it, or if neither did and it is a coincidence, I have no idea.

This is the only remaining achievement I have in the base game, so it would be nice to complete it at some point.

Seasonal stunts weren’t too bad for me - the toughest being the speed zone at 100mph. Managed to do it in Hoonigan RS200.

Playlist felt a bit shorter for me this week - not a bad thing as able to breeze though it.

Festival Playlist Tunes Dec. 22-29 (Winter S15)

Spent a good amount of time on the trial tunes this week. See lots of people running “Power Builds” for the trial. Power build are great for rival runs to set records. Not so much in a race. Power builds are finicky, I’ll handling and inconsistent.

The Trial | Santamental Feelings | (B700) Retro Saloons Ford RS500 Share Code: 164-170-016
I love this tune. Fast, quick and handles great and fun to drive. This tune is a winner. Good amount of power to go with exceptional handling. I took 1st overall in both rounds with this tune.

This tune is just a notch below the Ford. It handles just as good as the Ford but I don’t feel that it matches the acceleration of the RS500.

EventLab (3 pts) | DON JOEWON SONG
2018 Civic Type R Share Code: 949-353-015
It’s FWD and it is awesome! This tune is fantastic!

Speed Trap | Sendero | (S2 998) Anything Goes | Jesko Share Code: 243-641-127
Do the highway trick. Run up on the highway and beer to the left and you will fly through the speed trap.

Speed Zone | Punto De Vista | (S2 998) Anything Goes | Jesko Share Code: 243-641-127
Done on the first attempt

Championship | All the Trimmings | Dirt Racing | (A800) Rally Monsters

Everyone has this car and this tune will win you the seasonal very easily.

If you have this car here is you chance to make it a winner. Fun tune and it gets the job done.

Championship | Candlelight Parade | Road Racing | (C600) Retro Sports Cars
1993 240SX Share Code: 844-373-992
This car surprised me. It’s a powerful grip car that I pushed far into the C class leaderboards.

Championship (5 pts) | Oh, Deer | Cross Country Racing | (A800) Unlimited Offroad
Jeep Trailcat Share Code: 141-342-324
Everyone has this car as well and the Drivatars will not be beating this tune.

Man, I drug my feet too long and missed getting Christine. If I manage to make time for this week’s event I’ll be tempted to try a bit harder and go for the 40 point car.

I’m seeing the same thing in the trial, many players are just fast on the straight but drift all over the place on corners losing significant ground.

The most annoying thing is they may be able to get ahead at the start but end up blocking the more capable players from getting to the front AI. I had to slow down and look for openings to squeeze through the sliding players. Went with drag tires on a M3 for easy cornering.

B Retro saloons and C retro sports… Did I make these seasonals? Cause that’s my jam right there.

First time in a long time that I’ve done the trial for fun.

Still have to deal with the average Forza driver, but in B class there is so much opportunity to gain distance quickly, even with a RWD build.

Ran the trial twice, once in a hunter green E36 M3, and once in a street racing bodykit M5 (I forget the exact number for this one but same era) with a metallic blue and retro-cream skirts livery.

The M3 faced one guy in an AWD Widebody 2005 M3 who had a good build and was an half-decent driver, but by the looks of their movements they still had deadzones on and couldn’t get the car’s maximum potential out of corners. Still, held on for longer than I expected before making mistakes in both races under pressure and leaving a wide enough opening for a clean pass.

The M5 just destroyed.

4 firsts, no third race either time. Will be running it at least one more time to get clan mates through. I suspect another BMW is in order. Though the Sierra Codsworth also beckons.
