Thank you!

the ford coupe has two bodykits that put it in A, I think they’re aimed at drag, and the bonkers coupe FE is also A (?) so might work

I’ll have to confirm but I would not expect the '32 Ford FE to count since this is model specific and not family specific - the game treats those two models separately, so when the restriction is on a specific model, Forza Edition or other variants won’t count if the restriction isn’t based on groupings seen in Horizon Specials.

I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised that Ho Ho Holden!! would be deemed inappropriate for a tune name. :smirk:

You guys are are way smarter than me, would the 911 GT3 RS be decent for the trial? I have one that’s S1900 but no idea if it’s actually any good in a race

This should help

For the trial, I posted an open tune for a RWD 911 GT1 in the preview thread (my best time at Ruta Norte with it so far is 01:57.784). … but I think I have a good AWD drive option that I’ll leave an open build and tune for here, in case anyone wants to try it and tinker with it themselves …

2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 … Ruta Norte in 01:59.786

If you’d like to download it … 534 215 348 … but all the build and tune details are below.

Build (everything that’s not stock):

3.8 F6TT engine swap
AWD swap

Race front aero
Race rear aero

9 speed race transmission
Race diff

Race rollcage
Race weight reduction

Slick race tires
345 mm rear tires
Heaviest rims available (e.g. OZ racing superturismo GT)
Max upgraded rear track width

Race intake
Race ignition
Race exhaust
Race valves

Tune:

Front tire pressure … 32.0 psi
Rear tire pressure … 34.0 psi

Final drive … 2.96
1st … 4.17
2nd … 2.95
3rd … 2.26
4th … 1.76
5th … 1.40
6th … 1.13
7th … 0.95
8th … 0.85
9th … 0.76

Front camber … -2.0
Rear camber … -1.2
Front toe … 0.0
Rear toe … 0.0
Front caster angle … 6.5

Front Antiroll bar … 1.00
Rear Antiroll bar … 24.00

Front springs … 454.4
Rear springs … 755.8

Front ride height … 3.2 (minimum)
Rear ride height … 2.8 (minimum)

Front rebound stiffness … 7.0
Rear rebound stiffness … 11.0
Front bump stiffness … 4.6
Rear bump stiffness … 7.3

Front aero … 300 (maximum)

Braking pressure … 76%

Diff front acceleration … 100%
Diff front deceleration … 9%
Diff rear acceleration … 100%
Diff rear deceleration … 16%
Balance … 81% to the rear

Despite the extra weight, I was more than 0.5 seconds better with the race rollcage than without.

You might notice some of these like the springs are still at the default option … it drove well for me but I’m still going to tinker with it myself. I’ll definitely try to stiffen up the springs. It goes through a lot of gears early, so I might recommend switching those up, like maybe putting 3rd where 4th is, 4th where 5th is, and so on. Or re-gear it from scratch.

Ive also had some good success using the drift differential instead of the race differential. Happy holidays.

Your 911 GT1 is really good, was catching up to 1st in the 1st race until.i got rammed off the road.

Also why doesn’t the AI ghost? Came flying round a corner straight into an AI car facing the wrong way  luckily we still won both races.

Thankfully won it…

No problems on my end but I can only guess 1st corner carnage ensued on Afueras, likely due to the R33 user who was no kidding on 500pts within 10 seconds of starting Ruta Norte, you can guess what kind of player they were/build they were using from them ending up a DNF on there followed by quitting at some point on Afueras.

Something bad must have happened though on Afueras, can only see one of them here but the other player on 0pts was just in front of them out of shot…

Apart from the Hoonigan user not a good team at all, poor from the GT3 '21 user in particular considering their player level, but we won at least.

Tune for the Nissan is by RcR StriKer, found it this morning and it’s Rivals time on Ruta Norte was over 2 seconds quicker than the tune I originally tested for the car.

My game crashed when I played the Guanajuato event lab race. Most peculiar.

Thanks. I used it in my first go and had a charmed 2 races. Caught everyone in good spots, got 2 wins and we won both.

Then I drove that GT3 RS 4.0 a few times. Had some really good 1st races … almost like Ive been driving that route for days. And some, uh, spotty performances at the 2nd. 1 clean. 1 hit a stone wall all by myself … dead stop … and then went from last to first. Then 1 where i got punted in that first corner, rejoined and made slight contact with the driver that punted me (we were fine) … and he forza linked “look out”. sigh I won that one by 10+ seconds. Then my hand cramped up, probably because Ive been up all night. I need sleep.

This was my first Ruta Norte in the GT3 RS 4.0, from the back row. It was pretty.

Started last on the grid on Ruta Norte and second to last on Las Afueras and teammates weren’t cooperative in letting me get past them, to put it kindly.

Decided to go with the '95 GT2 just because I figured not many players would use it.
My tune handles reasonably well and has good acceleration but only decent speed.

Trial team-mates! We lost the first race, won the 2nd fairly easily. Third - massacring the robots within about five turns. I finished third overall, we’re way ahead on points.

So, of course, the remaining humans all decided to let the robots win.

The El Circuito De Guanajuato event lab crashed my game today, first it froze, then it crashed, and when i reloaded it from the beginning, it woulden`t load past the Start game screen, so i had to reboot my console, to get back into the game.
Guess there is a problem with that event lab, since i rarely have crashes on my end so.
I play on xbox one x

I tested it on the Xbox One X and it doesn’t crash for me but it is very laggy with poor input response. The blueprint is pretty poor in my opinion. Guanajuato is the worst place to drive in the game and the layout of the blueprint is not great
