If you’re having connection problems then the start of the race at Horizon Festival Circuit is the best way to do the photo challenge.

Good shout and easiest way to do this. Was going to do it this way but managed to have another copy of people turn up in front of the garage so we call got that challenge completed. This is where the “follow me” comes in handy!

Unless you run in Solo Mode (got bored of the constant error message), in which case it won’t take long for 2 AI to appear

Yeah same here I’ve had nothing but the error message all day (irritating when you’re grinding blueprinter influence too and can’t start an event until you get rid of it)

But hey ho it’s FH4, a problem in this game is like a crisp in a bottomless packet.

Edit: Wow so it turns out you can’t even say the reverse of ‘oh’ on here, that’s nearly as daft as the game itself not letting you use the name of the country who’s capital is Lima (done that just in case it isn’t on here either).

Aston Martin Vanquish 17 vs Porsche Macan Turbo 19

So new season and live is still broken (1 week and counting), trial seems to work fine though.
Anyway to matter at hands, so trial and street scene racing with '70 B 700 cars. Plenty to choose from … power or grip …
Well in my case its grip and was proven by two persons using power tune … think saying I won all 3 events is enough
Lotus Elan, tune - 170 153 851
or maybe Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 '70, tune - 164 979 223
Many other options to use here, if using any other car and my tune is available (search by my gamer tag), feel free to try it.

Maybe before starting with solo events, its worth doing weekly forzathon, so taking offroad buggy to go to the beach, for fun and air skills and doing a custom blueprint race at the castle cross country circuit (in mine you can just loop around start/finish line to complete it), share code - 912 381 005, then switching to first solo championship for millage. I reused the VW Class 5 Baja bug, B 700 tune - 914 172 892 for this.
Why custom blueprint, well you need one to complete it, as default track is only for extreme offroad.

So solo racing (seems the game is heading that way …) and just continue with cross country B 700 offroad buggies.
VW Class 5 Baja bug, tune - 914 172 892

Next to dirt racing with B 700 cars from France
Renault Clio R.S. 200 EDC, tune - 184 222 309

Finishing with some road racing, with B 700 Toyotas and I was probably doing something wrong, as it all felt kinda meh
Toyota Hilux AT 38, tune - 619 411 920
or slidy Toyota Supra RZ, tune - 152 768 772

PR stunts and its still all the same, Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 for danger sign and speed trap, used Hoonigan Ford RS200, tune - 428 155 751 for dirt speed zone.

Weekly Super 7 reward is Formula drift Corvette.

Just a finishing pic and we’re done for a week

Hope this is of any help to somebody, take care everyone and as always … have fun :), bb

That, squire, is a nice tune! Tried the Trial first with some elderly Porsche (916? It had a nine in its name, anyway) which was all about tha poweeeeer - great 'til I found the trees, but that Elan build is sweet! :+1:

edited to add I meant to say, thanks for posting these up, it is appreciated! I always have a look through, and often I think "ooh, I’ll try that car/tune" only to find out I’ve already downloaded and applied your tune previously… :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Yes i used the Elan as well with my tune from last years Spring Trial (exactly one year ago today lol!!!)

Raced it a few times now and have won nearly all with the ones lost being due to getting nudged ever so slightly out of the checkpoint (no ones fault just should have come in tighter).

Over all the Elan is best i reckon for handling, the 74 Civic has the speed but dies with handling on corners. The heavier cars loose any gain when it comes to corners and uphill sections.

Quite enjoy this Trial.

Just wanted to say I appreciate your posts. I use your trial tunes every week and they usually do pretty well.
Easily finished 1st in all 3 races in your Elan. Even started dead last in 2 of them.

Got 3 month of XBox Gold for £1, and all I can get is Solo mode. No wonder it was £1.

For French cars, try a Bugatti 35B. I used Sjeemone Grip/Seasonal tune (sorry no code) Great tune, more fun than a box.
For Buggies, I used El Barto’s Class 5 bug tune. For the 10 miles, the seasonal events should work. If not, a random 3 lapper at the Ridge does it.
Used Kenmari for the trial, not enough speed to win, but ok to support.
Fun week, done quickly. Great teams on Trial and PGG.

Ok, whose bright idea was it to set the buggy challenge to win a race at a circuit that is restricted to extreme offroad? What that basically means is that 90% of players will just go for one of the many 100m courses that people set up each week

Turn up in a buggy, go to create blueprint and click on “Offroad buggies” and then “create blueprint”. Standard 3 lap buggy race created. Takes about 3 seconds and you can customise if you prefer a different format.

Remember a few months ago the moor race where you needed a 10mil Ferrari mini car to compete and that was the reward as well. Oh dear.

Needless to say I couldn’t complete that on which was really frustrating.

Yep this flummoxed me initially. Thought I had to tune up my buggy.

Just took a blueprint which was a quick one someone created. Tbh kind of ruined the experience as it wasn’t a proper race but got the job done.

Like many have said, Live Session is still not working this week. But I still managed to complete the weekly races in decent time without disconnection. Here are the tunes that I did them with:

The Trial Co-Op Championship: “Drive On the Wild Side”
Honda S800. One of my favorite cars to drive. It has just as much grip as the Lotus Elan, only faster. Being the odd one out in a team consist of only '73 Porsche 911s, but still won all 3 races with ease. (“B700 Allrounder”. Share Code: 181 172 906)

Seasonal Playground Games: Muscle vs. Tuner
'93 Nissan Skyine GTR R32. Despite being lowered by the widebody kit, this car is still surprisingly quick and agile around the garden, even in the water (I’d try not to do it too much though). (“Godzilla V2”. Share Code: 138 715 592)

Championship: “Star Dew Rallye”
Peugeot 205 Rallye. Light and grippy, with plenty of acceleration. It’s just the perfect B-Class rally car. Period. (“Rallye Fast”. Share Code: 100 865 807)

Championship: “The Car in Front”
'95 Toyota MR2 GT. Not much to say, just a really fast nimble car. (“Pocket Rocket”. Share Code: 151 601 246)

Championship: “Sugar, Oh, Buggy Buggy”
VW Class 5 Baja Bug. It may not be the fastest of buggies, but it has plenty of grip, and is fast enough to get the job done. (“Offroad Beast”. Share Code: 102 946 445)

Omg as soon as I saw the Holden Torana A9X was legal for the trial I loaded Greeted Dust’s tune share code 154 480 077. This car is unbelievably good and I won all 3 events by a large margin. It has A class speed and I was coasting and just watching for traffic by the end. What an absolute beast. (If you want to choose power this is a good way to go as its not the heaviest either)

The buggy tourney I used The VW Baja bug (ugrundy tune) and that was tough but I won it first try. Crushed the car infront with an MR2 SC share code 493 464 958 (Nalak) and a Renault 5 Turbo for the Star Dew rally but the tune is no longer shared.

Weekly Forzathon I used A class Aerial Nomad and won first go. Its quick and takes the castle short cut well
