I have a top-300 awd stock tire tune for the Mini Trial, shared: 151 129 280

my real achievement this week was getting a drivable street tune out of the Forzathon Hoonicorn, did a clean 7:35 S2 Marathon, shared: 227 869 984

and for the Fresh Prince seasonal I still have the best Hoonigan Belair B700 out there, shared: 109 696 415

I will be sitting out the Trial this week for the sake of my blood pressure. Good luck to you all.

I went with a vintage white wall tire build. I tested slick, rally, white wall and stock tire builds on an unbeatable difficulty blueprint and only the stock tire version was able to beat all of the drivatars.

No way am I believing the Trial difficulty is above highly skilled.
Granted only 2 of the drivatars were at D500 but they would have put up a fight on unbeatable difficulty.

in case it helps anyone, the Extreme E in the shop is neither Autoshow nor Wheelspin

It’s a proper Mini, though - not a heavy tank!

I don’t remember having such a struggle as I’m finding it now, mind you, has something changed? The “281” robots clearly have different rules; I normally get past the lower-PI robots but this time they’re on rails with a rubber band on the accelerator.

Managed the Trial but ************** was trolling in the second race, pretty sure one on the team got rammed early on, then I was rammed right at the end, very obviously to try and make us lose the race as the points were close and I had to stay ahead to keep the win. Reported the idiot, of course. As for you, **************, if you read this and recognise my gamertag, **** ***.

Tried the trial on slicks and it worked out well … ish. 2 other players were on stock tires, so on Lookout, they got in front early and took the drivatars out of the equation. I tried to slow down the drivatars for the team in the next 2 races, but not for too long because I didnt want to lose too much momentum. We had the lead in the 2nd race until right at the end.

Btw, the mural for the photo challenge is right by the icon for Panoramica Sprint. Go there and take a 360 degree look and it should be in sight.

Thanks for that bit. Way simpler method to get the message out rather than suffering a long self-promoting video for no reason. :+1:

Trial was ok. Myself and another player out front.

Bit of argy first event, last lap, they went wide so obvs slammed into me next corner, I took the low road and returned the favour next corner. Childish ik but was no need for it.

Had a minor prob with the pr dangersign. Kept getting a bump right on the jump that was pushing the nose of the car down so kept failing. Odd behaviour, can’t recall it previously. Just took longer than expected to clear. Shrug

Ran the Trial using Geist’s tune. Out in front before the first right hander and never had to look back. Stock tires definitely the way to go. Pretty happy I didn’t have to tune for this trial.

Eventlabs for this season were absolutely horrendous, the unlimited offroad scramble was particularly bad and not fun.

cool, I literally told TGM a few days ago, this was the entire point of the stock tire build. if people fall behind on lookout, the whole trial is in jeopardy.

I want to reiterate this point, because I saw the top ranked daily tune is pathetic. don’t be fooled.

I ran your BA tune, kudos to you.

I remember how awful it was trying that stock last time. Fool me once…
