Exiting Rivals takes 2 minutes now, not sure why that has changed all of a sudden.
Also whilst I’m on the subject… I would like to know what car the other player is driving in the open Rival events. You can’t even look at their car in photo mode.
Not sure if this is a new issue. For over a month now I occasionally get stuck on infinite syncing when exiting rivals on XSX. I give up after 1 minute of waiting and have to restart game.
Doesn’t it say on the leaderboards? Just pay more attention when selecting your rival. And how transparent is the rival’s car, because I can usually tell what they are driving if it bothers me so much.
How do I view the Leaderboards? I can’t see the car well enough, I need to be able to read that actual writing on the car.
Aqua - not sure what you mean by ‘Open’ rivals.
The leaderboards in rivals can be accessed either from driving/ fast travelling to your chosen circuit/ event.
Choosing enter event, then Vs. Rivals - at this point choose the relevant class (but once you’ve highlighted it - press Change rival). On Xbox it’s press X to change the filter to show you the different options. If you have friends ahead of you on the board your automatically selected to be chasing their ghost. If you happen to be top of your friends list it’ll be the next guy ahead of you on the LB.

Select rivals from there, select Horizon rivals, Choose the discipline, Course, at this point choose the relevant class (but once you’ve highlighted it - press Change rival). I’ve not noticed any lengthy delay on leaving rivals. So wondering if you are meaning something else entirely. . . .

I’ve experienced the delay when exiting rivals, but only for sprints, only some of the time, and I don’t think it has ever happened if I either finished the whole race or restarted to go back to the start line before exiting; it only ever happened when exiting in the middle of the race. Restarting rivals before quitting is something I do habitually anyway since for circuits it lets you skip the reward screen (though also you don’t get any rewards and your time won’t be submitted so be careful).
Not spent too much time on the sprints, usually been trying to eek my way up the circuits times in various classes. So maybe that is it.

Didn’t realise how long it actually took in FH5 until I went back to H4 and found it loaded instantly. Haven’t completed a circuit event in a little while so don’t know if it’s just sprints that it’s affecting. Still ridiculous either way, considering it worked fine in H4.
