You’re a casual player, so something like Forza or Gran Turismo won’t work for you. Games like this are made for people more passionate about cars and racing who will invest a great deal of time; time that will be willingly invested rather than time seen as a chore. I spend tremendous amounts of time in games like this because I enjoy racing, not because I feel I have to.
Many years back people cried about it taking too long to get money to get everything and, unfortunately, Turn 10 listened, so they slashed car prices and threw money at players by the truckload. This is fantastic for players that are going to mess around with the game for five or ten hours. I, on the other hand, found myself with at least one of 100% of the cars in FM5 and with half a billion CR (not exaggerating) sitting around collecting virtual dust because I ran out of stuff to do with it. All my CR was useless because we catered to players that want everything immediately.
