Drift setup question/problem

Hi there, I’ve got quite a few drift builds with no issues so far. However I have one build at the moment on a 2017 Bentley cont and for some reason the front tires overheat mega quick and then all front end grip goes and it’s super hard to link a corner. They tend to be full red after a hairpin or a longer corner. Any advice? Higher or lower toe or camber mainly? Maybe my pressures are too low for this weight car? Any advice would be stellar.

As a note, front tire pressure is about 25, front camber about -3.0

Would I be looking at higher or lower for the rear?

In terms of camber or tire pressure? Pressure in the rear is about 28 and camber for the rear is 0.0, both of those make it easier to kick the back out.

Thanks.

I’ve ran anywhere from 35-40 psi over the last 13 years and had no problems what soever, its the way people drive that makes their cars handle like crap, tunes are just an excuse.

Why would you run such high psi? And it’s an issue specifically to the Bentley atm, so I don’t think it’s my style of drifting. Tried full RWD conversion, more camber, raised suspension upgraded tyres, none of it works.

Also you need to just feel the cars, feel the weight and take time to actually put parts on that will ballpark it, weight distribution, proper amount of weight to tire ratio and generally just basically closing your eyes to the game part of understanding and just feel how it reacts, drives, spins and think about the entire build / tune emotionally. You will get it, just make sure you get what you want.

For the same reason you wouldn’t. I’ve been doing it for 13+ years in Forza i’m highly optimized, you would see it as way to much traction loss which isn’t the case. It allows me to position the vehicles in a specific way and any of my vehicles can tandem with 300hp vehicles / 600 / 800 / 1000+ and being most of mine are in the 1000 range. I just do what others don’t which is what makes my cars killers in tandems and havoc in public’s. Kind of hard to explain but there is no actual downfall to my builds and incredibly consistent. This is just one of them and you’d never know unless I told you.

Have you got any tunes in game? I’d be interested to try out your setup, I was just throwing on a standard IRL based tune, so knocking the camber out in front and dropping psi. Would be interesting to see the difference.
