To have all players competative in online racing divide their career progress from online mode. So its no matter how far they are in offline career and how much time they spend with it. The online garage has potentially all cars and can be upgraded for free.
It’s like i saw it coming.
Upgrades will be locked behind xp wall, and you have to grind to get your cars together.
Get old, have a family and then you’re really struggeling to get a proper garage. And that’s only one possible reason to be in disadvantage.
Also look at this suggestion for this problem:
I’ve read a lot of comments about carpg. And even those who like it are unhappy with the fact that you have to level a car twice, if you want two in your garage.
If T10 would erase this barrier, they could split multiplayer and career.
The car selection is a mess anyway. Every time you end up buying new cars, instead of choosing yours.
Make two tabs: Career Garage & Multiplayer Garage.
You can export your career cars for free into multiplayer. And import tunings from multiplayer, if you got enough level and carpoints for the car model.
Multiplayer carpoints are added to the carmodek points.
This is completely necessary. My online series, that we’ve done since FM2, can’t happen with the car leveling how it is now. We’d have to build spec cars and that would still require hours from each person. The idea of having multiple cars is gone. We will have to move to Assetto. The replayability of this game is gone.
Still not happy after Oct. 17 update.
Grind is almost the same, because carpoints haven’t changed.
