So my suggestion is to have a double XP Token for you to add to the car you want to upgrade, it would be very good, it would take less time to level the car and know if it is also competitive online or not, and this token could be gain in the following way. Every time you level up you get a token, and also if you complete a specific event or something like that, in this mode it’s very slow, it took me almost 4 hours to get lv 43 from a car, playing fair in rivals mode, and also in career mode, starting last and playing on difficulty 6. So I wanted to make this suggestion.
Just take out the rpg element of it and return it to normal. Boom, problem solved. If that’s too hard, make it car manufacturer level instead. Got level 50 on a supra? Now all your Toyotas have all their parts unlocked. Even doubling the xp it would still be a nightmare. There’s over 500 cars…even if you only ever touch 100 of them, that’s a good 500+ hours just to be able to fully utilize them. Cutting that down to 250 is still oof to think about, lol.
My suggestion is as simple as keeping the current system, which I think works well (starting with a stock car in a series and ending up with something quite nice to race at the end is the best feeling of progression I’ve experienced), the problem is that many of the most important parts are locked at the start or are very expensive relative to the CPs you get in the first levels!
For example, there are cars (especially many front wheel drive ones) that strongly need a differential, anti-roll bars or better tires almost from the start to be drivable, especially when the AI mounts more advanced tires than you from the first race, but it turns out you have to go above level 10 to get them and at quite high prices that you can only afford in the last races of each series.
My suggestion (and I was planning to open a thread but can’t do it yet) is that the vast majority of upgrades must be unlocked from the start and priced more affordably, with the exception of those that do involve a real reward for getting the car up to top level, such as engine conversions or body kits, those I do agree that must be unlocked up to level 50.
In this way, from the first or second race you would be able to at least install crucial things like LSD or anti-roll bars for cars that really need it and not have to “suffer” until the 3-4 race.
Just lap in rivals you will lvl up the car pretty fast, after that tune and next go race
Bin the leveling system for the cars entirely, revert back to the system already tried and proven in prior titles, fire the idiot that came up with the CarPG system, problem solved.
I know there is a VIP bonus for credits… is there. VIP bonus for CXP or CP? I don’t think so, but I’m not in front of it at the moment and can’t verify.
If there isn’t, maybe there should be. This would encourage more folks to get VIP which would mean more moneys for Turn10…… or maybe even a second tier of “prestige” membership….
