Split game into progression vs unrestricted mp and tuning/painting

… perhaps just split game to 2 different mode?

  1. online, tuners, painters → no restrictions, all cars and parts are free, money has not been really forza “progression” for long time so why even pretend? (money just overflows, does not really mean anything…)

  2. SP career, I happen to like play, reward, motivation structure so there need be that and lot of content for that. I had plenty of fun with FM7 career, lot of fun driving and race restrictions allowed me to get involved with parts & tuning to get my style of car to race and same time not forcing me to race “race cars”, formulas, open wheel etc.
    For me fm7 money is not the best reward as there just was too much, collecting all cars just gets boring… that style play motivation is just been done in too many car games.
    Carpg… currently that fits SP game ok but does not carry after that 4,5 races where car end up to level 20…25. There are no point (90% cases) to use that same car for anything else. So even that needs very big changes. Keywords are motivation and reward…

Somebody has to say it, so it’s me now. How many times did I read: CarPG for singleplayers…
No, absolutely NOT!
Bring that crap into a mobile/F2P game for kiddies, not in a serious racinggame (even a “Simcade”).
Not in a modified way, not in a faster pace, simply don’t do it!
Let it in FM8, I don’t care (I don’t play that iteration, mainly because of this - and am disappointed to the point, where I won’t play the game, even when they got rid of carPG tomorrow), but when everyone keeps writing “it’s ok for singleplayer”, in the end the devs take that for real and bring it over to FM9.
When it should make sense by any means, then in MP. You’re supposed to “know the car better” - who other than you cares in SP, if you know your cars?

I can’t understand, why everyone is talking of rewarding blabla…I find it rewarding enough to build a car the way I want and drive into the first 1-3% of the leaderboards. And I’m not talking of “Metacars”, but about the cars I like. If people need rewards, bring 'em in, but leave me alone with that grinding. Even half an hour would be crap.
