Yes I’m back happy with my Forza 5 it works great and the VIP is great. Anyone out there that’s having the same problem give it a try I’m sure it works I have been trying for a week and now no problems at all and you will get your free cars too.

Camaro and jws, did you go through the Store on the dashboard to buy the DLC, or did you use the Marketplace? I’m curious with the Marketplace open now if it solves the issue without having to make the profile setting changes.

ManteoMax, you will have to go threw all the steps it’s not that hard and when you get the VIP you will get your free cars with it

Excellent! Great to see some happy people after the day I had yesterday/today.
Some nice old gentleman had an issue with his medication, and rear ended me at a light yesterday evening. I saw him coming, and held my brakes to keep from getting shoved into the intersection. That led to rear end damage, and a messed up drive train.
Now I’m arguing with insurance companies who don’t want to deal with the expense of fixing my 16 year old Ford, which now slips and grids it’s way through first gear. Reading that people have now been able to successfully get the game set up has they’d like has gone a long way towards making up for the aggravation. Made my day.

One IMPORTANT step missing from the list above: before you attempt to buy the VIP membership EVERY OTHER ACCOUNT MUST BE SIGNED-OUT. Otherwise, this will not work. It’s not enough to simply switch accounts. You must sign out of all them except the one account that you’d like to buy the VIP membership for.
