Hello. My son bought an xbox one with forza horizon 2 included. On the xbox he is the first profile and the box is set as home box. I, his dad, am the second profile and i bought ingame porsche pack and vip membership and the new island package. On my accouns i have all bonus cars from the packs but when switching to my son he can go to the island or porsche, but he did not own the cars and in this profile they cost money and are not free. Also the vip cars are not available for him. In the forums i always read that packs are for the console and for every profile on it, not just for one. What can i do to give this cars to my son? When you buy a car pack for any Forza game, you only get the cars in the game free for one time for the account that bought them. If you sell them or another user wants to buy them, they cost in-game credits. What is free is the fact that they can access these vehicles in the same console. If you don’t buy the car pack (or someone else on your console) then you don’t have access to the car at all. On the positive side, if you register for forza rewards ( https://rewards.forzamotorsport.net ) you can very quickly get in-game credits to buy these cars. I am not affiliated to Microsoft or Turn10 in any way, just a fellow Forza Horizon 2 gamer.
I also have this problem. I have the VIP membership and two xboxs, my xbox is the home xbox. I share my gold membership with the other xbox and have my kids profiles as members of my family group. Horizon 2 and its DLC is shared except for the VIP membership. It says its installed on my sons profile. I have tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, removing my son’s profile from the family group on the home xbox nothing works. And i can’t even purchase it for my son on his profile due to it saying its already installed.
Forza can you please assist with this issue as its really dampening my sons enjoyment of the game.
To purchase VIP for your son you will need to go to xbox.com and purchase it that way.
