Best way to extend Forza Motorsport 7....

Having recently decided to ditch FH4 for GT Sport, I’ve just been thinking about why I’m not ditching FH4 for FM7 instead, as FM7 doesn’t have time-limited cars (apart from FE cars, but I have almost all of those anyway, and AFAIA they’re irrelevant for online racing), which is the thing driving me away from FH4. So, what is it about FM7 they’d have to fix for me to start playing it again?

  1. Race regulations system that penalises course cutting and ramming.

  2. The cars having decent handling in stock form so you can race on a level playing field without having to spend time finding the best cars and tunes for a new division all the time. I just find the handling of most cars in stock form completely unrealistic, there are no cars in real life that handle so badly.

I think that’s basically it. AFAICT GT Sport has 1, and maybe 2. It’s hard to tell from youtube videos, but the focus seems to be much more on racing cars in stock form.

Grid Autosport has this for corner cutting:

There is one thing I forgot in my previous post and it’s the one thing that stops me playing as much as I used to back in FM2/3/4 and that is homologation.

I’m not saying they should completely remove it, but for free play races I would really like to set up races with specific types of cars (Hot Hatch for example) but not be restrained by forced homologaion, a simple on/off option in advanced settings would do. I don’t mind keep certain max restrictions like HP, but if I want to race in an under powered car, that is my choice. I actually enjoy that type of thing.

But because there is no way to turn off homologation, I find I only come on Forza a couple of times a week to do Forzathons and check the specialty dealer. I will play a bit more if I noticed a bounty hunter event that I like.
