Best tracks for learning manual using Logitech G920

I am just getting back into running Fora again. Been play with some friends couple times a month at least. In real life I have been done more then a few track days with my WRX. The hand controller just could never get the feel for the car I wanted. With my long fingers trying to run a manual setup was near to impossible. I got Logitech G920 wheel. Loving the wheel. I just have the wheel and peddles so far. Not the extra shiftier. Now I want get running manual off the paddles. Trying to find some good tracks to practice off of. Also just wondering any good tips for someone going over from Auto setup to Manual for this game? I drive a manual every day in real life. Not sure how well the game will translate.

Thanks for any help or tips.

It translates fine if you bounce you’re actual car off the limiter at every change

I don’t think track matters but what you’ll find is that you tend to drive to the tacho at first but soon you’ll be shifting up on engine note and downshifting on road speed.

When downshifting, I found it beneficial to do this earlier in the braking phase, than waiting before you are on top of the corner, as it allows time for the car to settle on its suspension. If you are having to change up out of a corner within say 2secs, you need to be in the higher gear through the corner, which will allow you to punch harder down the next straight. The red line for each car is different, so where the 08 Viper thrives on pushing it well into the red line, there is no benefit doing that with say the caterham (the only car i still run in auto). Road America and Sebring are good learning tracks.

Thanks for the help and info
