Anyone that could help me with some problems with my wheel i can use it fine with 4wd soon as i switch to rwd its snaps ether way when coming out of corners and its near impossible to get off the line clean. Any help would be great thanks
Any thoughts Lalryn? Im sorry i just had to. To your question, try normal steering instead of simulation. If that doesnt help theres a 40+ page thread stickied at the top of the forza 6 forum about wheels.
Actually, yes I do.
Firstly, try sticking with the lower classes for the time being; and run a few laps in cars stock. Dont worry about tuning just yet. Concentrate on learning to use the wheel, and take things slowly. As im2fast4u711 said, try ‘normal’ steering if you are not all readying using it. Try to stay relaxed, and do not hold the wheel too tightly. You want your inputs to be smooth, your throttle control should be progressive, as just mashing it will not work. If you insist on driving in the higher power RWD cars, then you need to pay even more attention to your throttle control. Off the line you need to be mindful of your revs, if you are just flooring it; then you will not be getting the best start.
Your main objective at this point, should be to just get used to driving with the wheel. Concentrate only on the basics, as you need to learn them all again. It takes more effort to drive with a wheel, and you need to build up your muscle memory.
I can’t play forza on a wheel but I am perfectly fine on pcars and dirt rally #1s but yet I struggle on forza, same wheel as you.
I picked up project cats instantly with the wheel and couldn’t go back to the pad. Forza I still need to come to grips with. I know the speed is there it’s just making the transition from pad to wheel ,after spending 600 +hrs with the pad I guess that’s to be expected. Loving the wheel on proj cars and looking forward to Assetto corsa.
It more than likely the differential settings (the deceleration setting to be exact). Try moving the decal setting starting from 0 to 100 in increments of 25 and feel the difference in handling. Choose the one that feels the best and then to fine tune it, move the slider in the direction that feels the most stable or if you need it to turn in more, move it in the direction that has more oversteer.
