Help with Wheel (Logitech G920)

So I’ve been playing with my wheel for almost a week now and could possibly use some advice for FH3. I can seem to play FM6 just fine with a wheel with no problem, but when I go play Horizon, it’s the hardest damn thing ever and I don’t know why. I’ve messed around with the advanced settings to find what would work best, but it’s still ridiculously difficult. I can only drive AWD with a wheel it seems. I been practicing with RWD and I would even do it with my controller with general telemetry up to see my throttle response with the trigger as a reference for my pedals. You’d think FM would be harder than FH, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for me. If any wheel users have any advice, my ears are open to any opinion.

You wouldnt happen to have simulation steering on by any chance I tried using it with my g920 and it made 90% of the cars I use spin all over the place. Also I’ve noticed it feels 100x better if you turn off rumble and vibration and adjust the setting called force feedback understeer between 0-10.

I did have simulation steering on and I would not settle for normal, I am determined to get good with the hardest settings and I have. I’m almost as fast as I am with the controller and I enjoy the force feedback, it doesn’t feel right at all without it and little to no force feedback messes with me and I actually do worse.

I agree completely on leaving the feedback at 100% ! I’ve never once turned it down from that for racing but below that setting in your advanced settings is an adjustment Called “force feedback understeer” which dampens the effect of understeer taking away the feel of your steering ive found having that closer to 10-20 makes driving with simulation steering a lot more manageable and you’ll probably find awd cars feel better because of the added grip and control you get making it a lot harder to oversteer which Causes 95% of the spin outs in the game I’ve found having a wider rear width tire preferably one of the stickier compounds aswell as having a softer rear makes most rear wheel cars drivable so for example front anti roll 20-25 rear anti roll 12-18 and having the spring rate lower in the rear by about 50-80 lbs that should reduce oversteer in most cars to a point where they are drivable with simulation steering and a smooth line it also helps to have the brakes more biased to the rear 47-45% helps to keep traction at the front when braking
