Ford Falcons are being classified as from the USA instead of Australia. This is restricting the ability to do a Holden V Ford race

it’s been the same way in the past few games as well, can’t see them changing it
Basically because Ford is a US company
doesn’t make sense to us Aussies though does it
The manufacturer has the call on that.
If Ford want the Falcon classified as American, then that’s what T10 has to do accordingly as part of their licence.

A shame really, one of our few motoring icons and we can’t even make claim to them in game :o
It’s not just us though - I bet there are a few Europeans who are annoyed about the Sierra, Escorts, Focus, Fiesta and RS200 (to name just a few) as well.
It’s Ford’s stance on the matter.
GM seems to be more open about it, but the same licence requirements see us having HSV, HDT and Holden all as separate brands. Same with Mercedes-Benz and Merceded-AMG as separate.
It’s up to the manufacturer to decide how they want to be represented.
