Turn 10, get your country of origins for car manufacture CORRECT

In Forza 6, you managed to get a few Aussie cars denoted as US vehickes. But low and behold, you have every Ford as a US manurfactured car (denoted by manurfactures flag)

This even applies toMALL the AustraliannV8 Supercars FG-X FG8’s, the XT/R Ford GT, the XB Zford GZt 351, the GTZhO Phase III, the Australian Ford Cortina, the Ford Capri, manufactured and designed in Victoria Australia.

For crying out loud, it’s not that hard to follow where the cars actually come from, is it.

Or, do the Americans want to take credit for every Ford ever manurfactured. /

Yet, you still allow the Holden V8s to be classified as Aussie cars, yet they run US Chev LS6 6.2 ltr V8 motors. While the Aussie Fords run Australian designed and manufactured Miami V8’s, NOT the US Coyote V8’s. Both are completely different internals, even their firing orders are completely different.

Get your facts right, you’ve had 4 yrs to do it. You even have the Hooligans Aussie entry Maloo V8 Ute. Remember, the US do NOT have Utes, and the owner of the Maloo had to have a special group set up,so he could enter the Hooligans Formula Drift comps.

Do your studies correct, fix the proper flags to the correct cars across ALL the various makes made in Australia, the ZuK and other countries or origin - please.

Turn 10 knows where the cars are made.

It’s actually Ford who has the call on how the car is represented in the game and they will dictate that to Turn 10.

So if you’re unhappy with the situation, complain to Ford, it’s their choice and not Turn 10’s.

It’s worth noting that EVERY Ford is American in Forza, including the European made Fords, not just the Australian Fords.

Ford, like GM, might well be the Primary partners, but both AUSTRALIAN products are both, designed, engineered, built and sold in Australia, not the US.

Both major automotive giants had to relinquish their command of trying to use and build American cars in Australia. As Australia has unique terrain and climates that dictate the way cars need to be built and used locally.

Tell me why, in previous iterations, most (not all) Australian model of cars have had their respective flags. Yet, the same cars in this iteration have none.

Sadly, both HOLDEN. And Ford Australia have ceased production locally. We will no longer have our own local models. Gone are decades of innovation that have lead to some of the best automotive engineering worldwide.

So much so, that Ford US ended up using FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) and ProDrives designs around the US Coyote motor to come up with their most high performing street engines, ever. Namely, the almighty Aluminator 5.2ltr Voodoo. Which uses almost all of the Australian innovation on the internals of the Coyote engine.

Our Ford GTs have out performed many of the US GT Mustangs off the showroom floor. If Turn 10 can allocate an Australian flag on the Holden Maloo Ute, and the HSV and HDT Commodores, then not allocate the Australian flag to the Hooligans Australian entry using the Maloo Ute, as It has an American flag, not an Australian one which is attached to its brother in the Holden garage . . Work that one out.

I’ll certainly contact both Ford and Holden, and Turn 10 through congenital means. But for them to not even follow their own previous build protocols, well, it just beggars belief as to why they do it. Is it lack of knowledge, or simple lack of effort on their part.

Even their model and production dates are out of kilter with what is actual fact. Such as the FPV 2014 Victory Gold GT that’s only available from a Crate or achievement etc. is in fact a 2012 model. As the FG ceased production in 2014, not started production. The FG-X was started in November 2014, and ceased in October 2016. Which was the last locally produced all Australian Ford. And is rated the fastest production family sedan at the time. Completing the 0-100kph in just 4.8secs - 5.2 secs, transmition dependant. That’s a car that’s off the showroom floor aimed at the average family.

Mind you, there were very few built, less than 3000 all up. (Not exact numbers) Mine is just 1 of 24 built in its specific optional equipment.

It’s sad that not only a huge studio that claims it’s a worldwide supporter of automotive goodness, has teams that investigate all manner of automotive greatness. Has it’s own media coverage, attends numerous events across the globe, yet fails to get some basic facts correct.

Especially seeing they built an entire game around our huge continent . . Namely Horizon 3 . . ,
