Audio - All Cars have Synthetic Engine & Tire Sounds, and Missing Transmission Noises

Despite the disastrous launch, lackluster updates, egregious FOMO, and online-only support, I was hoping that serious improvements were being made to FM 2023’s graphical and audio quality.

It has been extremely bothersome to drive a vehicle in FM 2023 due to the headache inducing vehicle sounds.

The engine sounds are flat, digitized, muffled, overly synthesized and always in an echo chamber

The tire sounds are horribly fake, exaggerated, synthetic as the sounds seem to be ported straight from Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition.

There are zero transmission sounds. No gear shifting noises, no quivering engine sound between upshifts and downshifts, no reversing sound.

Every time I feel like driving a car I like, FH5 is a constant reminder of how the car should actually look and sound. From engine sounds quality and accuracy. transmission noises and tire sounds. The vehicles feel like they are alive and real.

50% of a racing game’s lively atmosphere comes from its vehicles’ audio quality and their attention to detail.

It’s a serious problem when you realize how much fuller, livelier, more accurate and detailed the vehicle sounds are in Gran Turismo 7, FORZA Horizon 5 and The Crew Motorfest.

There is no way to play this game without migraine or headache without fully turning down the engine and tire sounds due to their abhorrent qualities.

This year marks the 20th anniversary for FORZA. I sincerely hope that your team fix the general game’s vehicle audio mess, fix the tire sounds, remove the constant echo chamber and add back the transmission quivering and shifting sounds please :folded_hands:t3:
