As I’m going through my garage driving each car at least once in Free Play and looking up some info about each car on the interwebs I stumbled upon this info on the Holden Torrano A9X :
If you check the factory colours of the Torana in FM6 those 7 colours are exactly what you can select in the game, kudos to Turn 10 for their accuracy on this one! (even though the real full name of the car rather seems to be 1977 Holden LX Torana SS (with A9X option))
I wonder if this is also the case with the factory colours of all the other cars, does anyone have any experience with that?
Obviously difficult to say for every car in the game, but, AFAIK, at least with every car I’m familiar with, the factory colors are real, and represented in game very, very well IMO. Some of the paints in this game you can stare into forever.
In both ACR Vipers it is not. 2008 had a huge variety of combonations, while the 99 had a couple of more colors available. In addition, the stripes have been wrong on every forza since 2.
I don’t think a company like Ferrari would even let them get the manufacture colours wrong, I think it would be a deal breaker if Turn 10 decided not to include Rosso Corsa for example, not that they ever would.
For the most part the colors are based on reality, however there are some that don’t look especially accurate, and sometimes they are missing colors, or will include colors that were not available in the model year represented in game.
