I decided to reproduce career in free play quick race, to be able change the car during events and number of laps. To me career in FM 2023 is unplayable without those options.
The only problem is that in free play you earn exactly zero credits, like 5000 per race, and can’t buy any car.
Is there any way to earn fast credits in game, or I should return to FM7 and forget about it?
I like to go to Rivals and tune my cars there, seems like the more rivals I beat and laps I put in I can get a good payout.
Endurance races?
Used to have some new players back in the day join our private multiplayer races just so they could earn some money.
Just some ideas to help you get started. Might be other better ideas..? Hope this helps
Hello.
Use advanced freeplay and:
- Increased AI difficulty
- Increased FRR difficulty
- Disabled rewind
Multiplayer Race give more money 30k + per 20min. If you are good driver ![]()
Still looks pretty bad, for 30k you won’t buy anything, even VW Golf.
I still don’t understand what is the problem to make career mode at least like in FM7, not to mention GT7, which has around 80 events and licenses.
It is just the matter of specifiyng races, thats it.
If you do not want play just turn off and leave. or searh google how to get 999999999$ in fm.
funny
I just want to figure out how to make this game playable.
Because honestly I would fire immediatly game designer, who made single player game with 93% of content (cars) unavailable in single player.
I almost only drive single-player, and I now have 15 million and 300 cars.
There are two basic things: you need VIP. And you have to like the game and drive, drive, drive. Races, rivals, the monthly carreer stuff, simply everything. If you don’t like driving a lot and don’t enjoy the game, it’s hard to make money. Yes, the single-player career is virtually non-existent. But it is what it is.
Enter rivals, turn on auto drive, call your pet (reWASD) and tell it to press B on gamepad every 15 min, go to sleep.
Wake up, enjoy credit boost, and electric bill.
Oh right don’t forget to turn off fuel and tyre wear
(tho rivals have them disabled by default, but still who knows)
Realistically speaking, it’s quite grindy, personally I have vip, and 90 days of in game time doing multiplayer races all the time, that allowed me to buy all cars, pay for upgrades for most of cars I tried, and still have 60 000 000 in credits… But yeah, u just need to drive and drive and drive.
I have a macro that pushes “W” every 30 seconds two times for a split second.
It sounds quite stupid: let the game to play itself instead of playing it myself. And reward is not great either.
Since I’m enjoing FM physics, I’m going to play career and see where it goes. The physics is very similar to Assetto Corsa EVO, fun to drive and yet complex and nuanced.
FM 2023 has the best physics in the series, and the worst career.
No idea how you can be low on credits in this game. I currently have 376 cars and 26,5 million credits, sure I already played more than a 1000 hours etc. but it’s really not hard. The cars are cheap you win enough credits and there are challenges to win even more credits.
Buy VIP if you don’t have that already. My advice would be to maybe earn some AFK credits to give you a little boost in the beginning, but at some point you have enough. Then you can just play “natural”.
I AFK’ed to level up cars and not for credits. I always use the Tri-Oval for that, acticate all assists, except brakes, because not even the driving assist needs brakes on the Tri-Oval. I do that in Rivals. If I limit the FPS to idk 24 FPS the lowest possible in the Nvidia Control Panel and set graphical settings to the lowest possible, then it also barely costs any energy. But I am too lazy to do that lately but I did do that, I just let it run how it normally is now, but ppl that care about that yeah just do that with the FPS limit and lowering the graphics. I mean it’s the smart way to AFK farm lol.
In FM7 I played career, 100 hours total, and got 500+ cars. Which translates into one car per 12 minutes. And FM7 career was much much better, you could change race length, you could change car. It had interesting challenges and city tracks, I loved Rio and Prague and Long Beach…
But since you can’t change car in FM 2023 event, you don’t need cars anyway. How much events in career, 35? So you need to buy 35 cars to finish the game and that about it. The other 600 something is just a ballast.

Yeah sure because the Career Mode is the ONLY THING IN THE GAME! I wouldn’t even call it “Career Mode”.
The career mode is the only thing the vast majority of people plays.
As for me, I still not sure, what is the point of multiplayer in racing games. Seems completely useles to me.
Free Play, Test Drive, [your car and track here], Enjoy?/Profit.
I feel like I earn more over an hour of test driving than racing the AI.
Seems pretty obvious to me that the point is to allow humans to compete against other humans.
For me, I just do rivals. I keep doing laps trying to improve times and it just stacks up. I end up loosing track of time because how much I end up pushing to improve times.
I drive this tracks for 20 years in every single racing sim, so why would I enjoy test drive? I know every tiny bump already.
I’ve got realy tired of all this “simracing” crap: want to drive Spa 10.000th time with the same boring GT3 car? Nope, fed up with this 10 years ago.
