Any chance we can actually get newly released cars in the game?

In this game it is same story in Player vs NPC.

Normally in many arcade racers their AI adjust their speed base on player.
So if player using a car within same class + same level upgrade. Difficultly will be feel like the same.
And arcade racer come with boost/heavy slip stream generate from the AI. Slower car will be pulled by AI so it will not have problem.

But in forza AI dont have this much of rubberbanding in high difficultly setting. For example Pro level.
So If i using a 2-3sec slower car it will become ā€œunbeatableā€ and I can only watching AI walk away.

If I turn down level = it become boring.

I just realized the 8 Series could be discontinued without appearing in Forza (except for the M8 GTE in FM7).

Remember the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series? I remember hearing about that and being excited to see it in Forza. Never showed up. When I learned that the Dodge Viper GT3-R existed, I thought it would make a great Motorsport car, because it came from the factory with the unrestricted 8.4L V10. Also, GT Sport had one. Of course, it never was added in. And I always found it very peculiar that the Fate of the Furious car pack for Motorsport 7 not once ever saw Horizon 3ā€™s Blizzard Mountain, despite half of the cars there being models made for driving in snow.

I really, really, really want to see the Mercedes-AMG GT Black, C8 Corvette Z06, and 2022 BRZ get added to the game properly, among many other choices Iā€™d love to see. However, as I alluded to in my posts, thereā€™s a sense that Playground Games cares less about adding in those desirable dream cars and more about throwing in things thatā€™ll look great in a Reddit post. Of the genuinely-new cars slated to come in this update, only one looks interestingā€¦and it also looks like a dollar-store Rimac. I really hate that Forza Horizon is effectively the only game in town, because that reality has allowed for thisā€¦laziness to happen.

Well they just added the Wuling something to cater to the Chinese market despite people wanting tons of other cars.

I like cars from all eras but grew up lusting over 80ā€™s 90ā€™s non-American sports cars and American muscle cars - so I want all those (really I want everything). But, give me a bit of both.

NEW: Gordon Murry T.33 T.50 (dude who designed the '93 McLaren F1 made these and it/he still gets more respect than all modern Bugattiā€™s as he, similar to Colin Chapman - creator of Lotus, only puts performance necessary things in cars - not make it to paint it gold and drive around Dubai to impress others - I drive/like cars for driving pleasure - not to impress others but to each his own - a REAL car person/driver knows what Iā€™m talking about. Iā€™ve driven a variety of performance cars over the years with various power ranges/drivetrains and the more fun to drive are always the lightest/most basic/shift yourself, low powered - ITS ALWAYS FUNNER DRIVING A SLOW CAR FAST THAN A FAST CAR SLOW IRL). If you insist on electros, how about the Rivian R1T (truck of the year)/New electric Hummers or trucks/SUVā€™s or the Lucid Air (Car of the Year) which supposedly drives like a sports car.

OLD: Iā€™m a rotor-head Mazda dude so I wish the 1st gen RX-7 was in (already modeled in Forza MS 7 I think?), or Mazda AZ-1 but realize most players could care less about a 1984 RX7 GSL-SE and content with selection of FC/FD 7ā€™s and Miataā€™s. A Citroen DS would be cool, too. Whereā€™s the '84/85 Testa rossa/512? Why the 944 and 968 which is same car a few years later - whereā€™s the Porsche 928? I know the answer. (I could go on and on),

Iā€™m a car dude (and realize they are trying to appeal to as many as possible, many of which may play this game, have fun, but not the deep type of car-nut fun I have whether I do any events or not). I get just as much enjoyment driving a say a stock Miata across the map (G29, gate 10shifter/clutch PC) as I do a 1500hp hypercar with 12 speeds. I follow basic car rules - you wonā€™t see me put a like a 2000 hp V10 and AWD in a 60ā€™s Ferrari, however, that ability to basically build the car/drivetrain/look you want with the customization options is still awesome.

I donā€™t have patience to do liveries but I highly respect the option and highly respect the artists as I always find what Iā€™m looking for (I do real world vintage/classic race liveries, real factory trim levels, etc). BTW, if you download a livery that someone obviously put some time into, lift your tiny finger and hit the ā€œLikeā€ button if you download it - itā€™s like now people are too good to even do that (they now take all this stuff for granted since they were born into expecting all these cool features).

Iā€™m not giving the devā€™s a pass - my major issue is countless seasonal championships w/ no credit (and 1 or 2 points under the "claim reward/car I wanted). The internet is a blessing and a curse. When I started the devā€™s made a cartridge/floppy to put on store shelf with no chance of fixing bugs/dlc/no online guides/no yt video to show you where that treasure chest is, etc and life was better and people were nicer. It seems we are beta testers for dev;s now but we bitch when it takes too long to release and if you are one of those that try to inflict digital or threaten devā€™s because you didnā€™t get the purple cape in Destiny/Fortnite whatever those games are (not right games just examples) then you should probably get a real life.

Humans are humans, nothing is ever enough and they want it perfectly over night. Just 50-70 years ago you wouldnā€™t ever actually see most of these cars in color photos/only hand sketched or even know they existed.

Like I say with Gran Turismo series and Forza Horizon AS A CAR NUT- I would pay $1000 just for the game, its content, and what its capable of as $60 can be blown in 30 min with a hard drink/tip if I turned off game and went up to local bar and Iā€™m on gamepass PC for like $10 promo as I couldnā€™t find the right xbox yet and did Halo Infinite and FH5 for $10 - thatā€™s insane - MS is flush with worth (almost buy a console for GT w/ Sony as I literally have bought a new Sony console/wheel only when a new GT comes out - nothing against Sony - I buy ALL platforms always just not into Sonyā€™s exclusives). I will accumulate over 2000 hours of entertainment before FH6 comes out and thatā€™s easily worth the money (I would pay a grand for Skyrim/ES as I have put over 2000 hours in that one alone - think about how cheap that entertainment is compared to simply going to decent restaurant and movie and thatā€™s ONE night).

I do agree, wouldnā€™t take much to freshen up some of the same year/models Forza has been cheaply carrying over game after game with the newer 2022/2023 styling of existing models. (Cherokee SRT with newer grill donā€™t count.)

These people usually get the car, max it out with unrealistic power/drivetrain, race a couple people, show it off, then never touch ever again before moving on to the next one.

As much as I do love older cars, it is disappointing to not have much for newer cars, fast or not. It feels like the car selection has been lagging behind for a while. I thought that theyā€™d stopped adding more recent cars in FH4 so they could keep them for FH5ā€™s release but I guess not.

I believe there should be more cars from 2020 or newer. Not a ton, but more than the very few there are currently.

the new Golf R ā€œ2021ā€ we got is a MK7 facelift modell
and VW stopped building the MK7 Facelift in 2019 and since then we have the MK8.
so I donā€™t realy understand why the 2019 Modell is called 2021 in FH5

Idk but I really want them to add some ig ā€œuniqueā€ older cars like the older Volkswagen Jettas mk1, mk2, mk3 and plus they already have the mk4 model in the game.
