Hey guys, do any of you know how to force FM5 to “sync” ? I lost my designs before, and after waiting a very long time the game “synced” and all my designs came back. A month ago I lost them all again, and am waiting for the game to “sync” once more in the hope they come back again. My sons game " syncs" on a regular basis, but mine won’t. Any help would be much appreciated.

There in so way to force a sync. If u have started over most likely it won’t sync ur old saved data over ur new stuff. Next time it tries to sync though if it pops up an old game save for u to chose click that one.
Are you doing anything different than your son? Same console? Same home setting? External storage? Retrieving your gamertag at a friend’s console to play when visiting?

david mckenna it sounds like you are having as much fun with FM5 as i am. i cant seem to get anyone from turn 10 to even respond to my issues… i used to talk up forza to everyone. especially my friends who still play gran turismo. i was a gran turismo guy until GT3 and then went to friends and played forza. not that my loyalty to the franchise has done me any good. im finding it very difficult to have anything good to say at this point. dont get me wrong still love the game. i am just not loving turn 10’s attitude towards technical problems which apparently is eh, maybe he will get tired of complaining and settle for just being able to play parts of the game… they go to all this trouble doing driving schools on twitch, photography contests, etc. while there are people who are having issues beating their brains out trying to figure out a problem that turn 10 should be helping with. i guess individual problems are beneath them. but then again they’ll reward an individual 100,000 crs for taking a good picture. i’m having a tough time wrapping my head around it. its a joke, but it aint funny

im not one of these guys getting on here and just complaining because they feel that FM5 didnt measure up to previous installments. i could care less about getting paid for a tune or design and the auction house in FM4 was a cesspool of modders and cheats. i just want to race online against real people. nothing more, nothing less
Well I have to say, T10 have sent me a ton of money to fill my garage back right up, but biggest issue was the fact that I’ve lost my designs. I can download them off the “store” but they are then locked. I’m still waiting for a sync !! It saddens me that the forums on here are now dead, and have been for months…This community was once thriving, but has slowly died with the absence of the auctions and gifting amongst others. The forums for Project Cars has been very refreshing with many members of the team heavily taking part in the discussions.
well, its cool that they sent you the cr’s to replace the cars. pretty cool that you got a response of any sort. i finally fixed my problem and i’m getting ready to post it up on my original post if anyone wants to know what the fix was
The debacle of horizon 2 on the Xbox 360 has driven most of t10 into hiding.
Helios instructed me to clear my local save to force a sync, and it worked 
all liveries are back
This is great news… but how do u only delete the local save.
And will this work for people that the sync bar never stops syncing?
EXACT problem here for me for the last few hours. I’ve given up for now. I even tried clearing Local Saved Games again. But nope… it just sits at the syncing screen with no progress bar and just a line shooting from left to right.
All other games synced just fine.
okay, last time I did the sync which took well over an hour, there was no indication of progress. I pressed B to cancel, then opted for continue syncing. I then had a reading for a percentage of the progress. Be aware, that the syncing process can take a very very long time only to fail right at the end, and it can also take many attempts before it does indeed sync. Not exactly pick up and play lol
Well it resynced eventually. Took about 45 mins. Progress bar didn’t appear until 15 mins later!
Everything in FM5 and the console is exactly as it was before I cleared Local Saved Games.
