Even when you’ve completed every event, she will still interrupt your music to let you know that “you have completed every PR opportunity, you can’t earn any more fans” or something like that.
She’s still setting routes to PR events for me, even when I’m already following a route to somewhere else. Totally nondefeatable, of course. Egregious disrespect for the user must be a thing now.
The post was meant as a joke, hence the sarcasm in parentheses. However, Turn 10 does mention how the cars are closely modeled on their real world equivalents. In the real world equivalent cars, I’m sure you can turn off the GPS.
So I decided I had to get out from under Anna’s psychosis-inducing unsolicited route settings. I had 3 tough offroad speed zones near Byron Bay and one building-hopping danger sign left. After much swearing and cursing, and altering an Agera with rally tires and springs, I managed to leave this idiocy behind me. YES! Now she just tells me there’s nothing more for me to do. She’ll be repeating that often, I’m sure. But now I can ignore her altogether.
She can stay so those that want this can have it, but PLEASE allow those of us who are 100% put off by her to turn this feature off.
Even though I love listening to the sound of the engines, I have resorted to completely muting the game.
If indeed this is the future, then it is a future I will not be a part of. This is my single biggest complaint about Horizon 3 and literally is about the only complaint I have. Yeah, to me (and it looks like others as well), this is a big deal and very nearly a deal breaker.
