I’ve completed the game. I don’t want Anna telling me about drivatars she found. I don’t want her randomly setting my GPS to a race route “to get fans”.
I don’t want to see the messy map and minimap which is littered with useless icons like beauty spots or showdown challenges. Filters should be persistent.
Completing the bucket challenges was the worst thing I could have done. I thought it would shut ANNA up, but instead, now she sets routes randomly to PR stunts. At least with buckets, she would ASK if I wanted her to set a route, and I could just ignore her.
I suppose if I get 3 stars on all the stunts, she’ll take control of the car away from me next, and take me where I never asked to go?
She’ll tell you that there is nothing left for you to do…
Now, she’s only done this to me once (I really haven’t been just driving around so I’m not sure if it will repeat) but I’m going to be extremely annoyed if it does repeat that I learned to drift well enough to 3 star them all so I could just get rid of her.
She tells me nearly every time I play, A, that she has found another drivertard for me to hire and B, there is nothing left for me to do, I can not get anymore fans … gets very old real quick lol
Yep, I like Anna…when she was useful but now every time I pull out of my festival she tells me “there’s a drivatar that you should check or add to your line up” or something along those lines. Also, found out that I have to disable her to use my telemetry.
She is the worst. Lately she is giving me level 1 drivatars to add to my lineup. Not even people from my friend list, just randoms that never played the game. My other lineup drivers are 170+.
I got lucky that one in my lineup played the game extensively, and leveled up into the 400s. He didn’t start out that way in my lineup, though. The best I’ve ever gotten was in the 40s, and lately all I’ve been offered is in very low levels–1-5. I crossed Level 470 yesterday. Who’s responsible for this matching? Oh, right–ANNA.
Being told about new drivatars is only an up-front annoyance, though (when first entering the game). It’s the interruptions and distracting muting of my engine (there’s another sore subject–the engine sound doesn’t come from the radio; IT CAN’T BE MUTED BY A CALLER!) that brings on the rage.
The reason those pop up frequently is to give those people a chance. I have two platinum star level drivatars and two level 800+.
Often times I get drivatars to pop up between level 20 and 100. The only way to get around them and try to get higher level drivatars is to race each one that pops up. Anna isn’t the one giving you them to race, it’s how the game works.
Yeah telling me I have a championship left to do when I know…i created it. Also that the same drivatar in my lineup resets, so I have to force myself to reject them to stop her constantly showing me things I already know -__-
I’m getting really disheartened by Anna frequently telling me I’ve done everything there is to do, when while there was stuff to do she was interrupting me telling me to do something else. Here I was promised the bestest summer of my life, and now she’s telling me it’s all over and done with - right in the middle of spring even! I’m gonna start blueprinting some championships I guess.
The festival season is over when I say it’s over, Anna! After all I’m the festival boss, remember?
Off topic: Anna and the Map Markers would make for an awesome band name.
The worst is when I’m trying repeatedly to 3 star a PR stunt and Anna comes in with “PR stunts are a great way to get fans. I’ve set a route to a nearby PR stunt.” Yeah after doing the last showcase and rendering fans to no longer be a thing I totally need to be guided to try to “get fans” by changing from what I was already doing to what I was already doing. I’ve literally had Anna try to send me to a PR stunt while I was in the middle of front flipping from a danger sign 3 star attempt gone wrong. It’s just frustrating to have sunk so many hours into the game and be over 70% overall completion and still have the game think it needs to hold my hand to keep me from getting lost about what to do next.
How about removing the route I’ve set, and which I’m following, and replacing it with a route to a PR stunt? That one deserves a raspberry award for sure.
